Good, now the Colts have some depth and a potential #3 guy. He had a very good rookie season, but his last couple of years have been marred with injuries. Speedy fast deep threat that should do well. Have always liked Donnie.

If this guy can stay healthy (big if, but stranger things have happened) I seriously think we have a replacement for Pierre Garcon - similar kinda players, fast, explosive, slightly below average hands, but can make big plays down the field .. I like this pickup (depending on the contract-size of course)!

Maybe not marred, but he's had some injuries.

Bet this was a cost effective move. Grigson doesn't seem to give blockbuster contracts. We may have gotten an upgrade on Garcon, without even knowing it.

Could be possible if he stays healthy. He was doing great in St. Louis till he got hurt.

I think there's intrinsic value in signing players with something to prove and the drive to do it that's not reflected in their price tags.

Alright - didn't do a full search on him, I'll admit that :)

But how is this link more reliable than Wikipedia, or any other site for that matter?

1) It's not publicly modifiable.

2) They were bought out by CBSSports to do their NFL Draft work.

I think everyone is overreacting a bit on the injuries. He's played in 39 of the 48 possible games in his NFL career. That's 3 missed games a year. That's not that bad.

thats not true...he tore his ACL and MCL in a preseason game in 09, after a stellar rookie season...and got cut on 10, it seems he never recovered or at least rams didnt believe...then signed by titans and never did much there.

True, but Bill Polian would fill those needs with undrafted rookie FAs

That's because we typically had players guaranteed to start in those positions and we were looking for cheap backups. We've effectively lost front-line guys from last year all across the board (and particularly on offense).

Seems like a no lose gamble as I can't see there being much cap hit for this guy, if he works out great move, if he doesn't we're no worse off. I'd still like to take a WR in the 2nd or 3rd though depending on whose on the board.

His website seems a bit OTT when you've not had a steller career so far, though I'll offer him a deal right now, 1000 yard season and I'll buy a t-shirt!

That's true but he caught one TD pass from Hasselbeck last year and may be recovering. After torn ACL\MCL it may take a couple of years recovery time for a skill player like him.

When you got 20 openings on your roster, it's no surprise. We needed 10 or more undrafted free agents in addition to the 7 draft picks and 2 compensatory ones.

well I was referring to the fact that Polian never went out and tried to get FAs that weren't undrafted rookies. Polian only went out and got Corey Simon, Anthony McFarland, Adam Vinateri and a few others and that was in a 13 year span
