Andy
Good, now the Colts have some depth and a potential #3 guy. He had a very good rookie season, but his last couple of years have been marred with injuries. Speedy fast deep threat that should do well. Have always liked Donnie. ThePhantom007
If this guy can stay healthy (big if, but stranger things have happened) I seriously think we have a replacement for Pierre Garcon - similar kinda players, fast, explosive, slightly below average hands, but can make big plays down the field .. I like this pickup (depending on the contract-size of course)!

jtrester
Bet this was a cost effective move. Grigson doesn't seem to give blockbuster contracts. We may have gotten an upgrade on Garcon, without even knowing it.
Andy
I think everyone is overreacting a bit on the injuries. He's played in 39 of the 48 possible games in his NFL career. That's 3 missed games a year. That's not that bad.

bavanlan
True, but Bill Polian would fill those needs with undrafted rookie FAsThat's because we typically had players guaranteed to start in those positions and we were looking for cheap backups. We've effectively lost front-line guys from last year all across the board (and particularly on offense).
RomanianColtsFan
It is actually quite surprising that we are dipping into free agency this muchWhen you got 20 openings on your roster, it's no surprise. SteelCityColt
Seems like a no lose gamble as I can't see there being much cap hit for this guy, if he works out great move, if he doesn't we're no worse off. I'd still like to take a WR in the 2nd or 3rd though depending on whose on the board. His website seems a bit OTT when you've not had a steller career so far, though I'll offer him a deal right now, 1000 yard season and I'll buy a t-shirt!http://www.donnieavery17.com/

Polian only went out and got Corey Simon, Anthony McFarland, Adam Vinateri and a few others and that was in a 13 year span
