It’s this simple...when Ross Travis is in the game I will cheer ...when he is not, I will return  to my oxygen chamber.

If the guy was anything but a run of the mill, average TE in this league, he wouldn’t be available for us to pick up (again) at this point in the season. He isn’t a mismatch for anyone because he hasn’t shown he can either 1. Beat his guy routinely and 2. Catch anything routinely. JAG

During the short time he actually played here he showed some potential. The problem is he seems to be fragile. Two blown ACLs in two tours of duty. Not an auspicious resume'. Let's hope he can stay healthy and be productive for five games.

I think he is more of a stereotypical TE then Ebron. I don’t put to much in nobody wanted him Sometimes it just takes the right team.

I agree but Swoope kept getting injured and when he got injured it always took him a long time to heal up.

Travis catches the ball better than Ebron I will say that.   Seems to get hurt easily and it's not too hard to blanket him up in the passing game.

Lets see, we are now playing Marcus Johnson, Jonathan Williams, and possibly Ross Travis.  Now all we need is Chad Kelly at QB and we will again see the dynamic offense that we saw in the second half of preseason games. You know, the one that actually scored.

Why not use the ones we have? Like run more passing plays for Mo Allie Cox? All he has done is block like a faithful one and deliver when his name has been called in the passing game.

 

I am afraid his value will be realized by teams that use TEs better like NE that would sign him in an instant and before you know, Brady will be feeding him TDs when he is not blocking for their RBs.

I didn’t know this but Jacoby mentioned today he knows Travis pretty well since he was here last year and in 2017. Let’s hope they can get some chemistry going.
