Well to be fair, most of us felt this defense was on the cusp. Most thought that Eberflus had exceptional ability to take this team to the next level and all the talent we added was going to get us there. I keep seeing the same defense we’ve had over the years when we all came out with excitement. Nobody has made a real play today on either side of the line. I suspect we chalk this game up as a learning experience. Quite honestly, I think this team has been managed soft with all the day offs, and all the preseason games off for the starters. It’s just questionable strategy for me. NE wasn’t sitting their starters and they’ve come out in mid season stride.

I'm just as mad as all of you. We look badly coached and our effort is not great. But once we have our guys back, we are a very competitive team. Our top two players are out on defense. Our only WR(lol) is out. It's not fun to watch, but at least the young bucks are learning. 

 

I'm more heated about our play calling. Run, Run, Pass down 14 with 1 min left in the 3rd Q? Maybe take some chances

Eh, almost every team stopped playing starters in preseason this year, so that's iffy.... And all what extra days off? Haven't heard about those?
