Save the IR?

Very slim odds but possible in the AFC that we make the playoffs.  Do you save the 2nd IR as insurance and possibly allowing you to let Luck return if rehab succeeds?

No, let Luck have the rest of this season plus the off season to hopefully be a full go once OTAs and TC begin for next year.  We would make zero noise if we did miracle ourselves into the postseason.

Let me say this again this team yes has shown a little bit of improvement but not near enough to make a full comeback and make the playoffs not happening.

Who knows what could happen. Not throwing anything out the window. Are defense shall improve even more with a healthy boost this week. Offseason is very obvious what needs fix. Once we fix the offensive line this team is going to be great.

Luck isnt coming back, man. Not this year, maybe not next year. Right now you have to prepare to roll with Brissett for the long haul.

I don't think it's even possible. He has to be on IR for 8 weeks and I think that only applies to the regular season. Could be wrong on that though

Maybe today's game will more clarify the answer.

But maybe you ought to consider taking a little time away from your shaman.

We're all but eliminated at this point, but regardless, Luck probably won't even start throwing again until January, best case scenario.
