Predictions For Saturday's Game Vrs Rams

!st teamer's play until near half time except:

Gore goes out after  2nd drive, replaced by Robinson. -also like to see them on the field same time, both can run, and both shown they can block and catch.-

Mewhort plays RT through 3/4's of first team's reps, then Good replaces....just to get a look.

Parry starts at NT.

Anderson switches in and out with Langford, -like this past game-.

See 2 different sets of 4 wide sets, speed and size.  -meaning Carter gets a chance to catch an 'on target' ball.-

Score doesn't matter.  But I think tackling will be better.

Predictions:

We make it out alive

Carter & Dorsett combine for 100.... nevermind. I'm done with that prediction.

Robinson rumbles for 100 yards

Luck doesn't get sacked more than 2 times. Good thing considering this is a top 5 defensive line

D'Joun gets his first INT

C. Geathers gets his first Forced Fumble unless he already got it and I don't remember

Parry & Anderson Law Firm continue to ball out

:scoregood:

23-20 colts I hope. Lets win just one game in the preseason.

I'm interested to see how our rookies do on defense. Parry and Anderson law firm (that's awesome TK haha) have been playing great and hopefully continue to do so. Geathers looked good against Philly. I missed the entire second half last night so I can't say anything there. I haven't heard much from D'joun Smith. How was he last night?

Oh and if Duron Carter can get some competent throws thrown his way, so we could see if he's actually good or not, would be nice to see as well.

Carter plays with Luck and really impresses.

Robinson looks crisp and great again.

Parry, Kerr, Pendleton continue to impress.

Mewhort, Costonzo redeem theirselves against the strong Rams DL.

Moncrief has a big game. Dorsett has a big play or two.

Hasselbeck redeems himself a bit more too.

I like it! Doesn't matter if Perry starts but he deserves more time with the 1s.

T.Y. Hilton will embarrass Janoris Jenkins which will result in something similar to what happened with him and Fuller.

Robinson gets slowed down against a talented Rams front and everyone overreacts.

Herrera has 10 total tackles

Dorsett gets into the end zone for the first time

Parry and Anderson go ham on the Rams O-Line.

    • Sounds like a good time. I would consider playing, if I can afford the track you guys pick, and they have a set of tees that are appropriate for my old man, short knocker, game.
    • I don’t know how you missed it…. But Adams is a strong safety.   His name has rarely been mentioned here this off-season.  The two names the community has called for are Simmons and Diggs.  Both are still available.     If anything Tenn may have done the Colts a favor.  By signing Adams they may have broken a log jam and made it easier to sign the safeties the Colts might be interested in.      Again…. I hope we sign a safety.  I’m just not worrying that the Colts haven’t done it yet.
    • pretty much my thoughts.  I would like for us to grab Simmons.  Impact vet who could come in and perform.
    • To the bolded, it can definitely matter who signs someone first if both GMs are interested in the player. The issue is, the public usually doesn't know if a team that doesn't sign a player was interested in him because the GM isn't going to publicly admit he "missed" on a player. However, it happens a lot more than people think.    We see it as Adams didn't want to play here or some other reason, but it could have been Ballard didn't offer enough. That's been a pattern for a long time now that's repeated itself and Ballard has admitted that he places a price on a player and won't go over that. So a big possibility is Ballard is just cheap and players are signing with other teams for more money.
    • The only one I really want is Simmons and he likely doesn't want to go through a camp as he doesn't have to. It allows the team to have a better feel what they have. If the staff is concerned and he's available then I think it's an option
