Austin Collie is still playing football

I was watching my CFL team ( Ottawa RedBlacks ) on Saturday night and saw him playing for the opposition BC Lions.  He looked good scored a TD.

 

I always liked him when he was with us too bad he had the concussions.

 

Just thought some here would be interested.

I really liked him too. He had the potential to be the next Wes Welker imo, just a shame the concussions piled up. Good for him though.

If he didn't have those concussion issues I think he would have beat Amendola out when he was with NE.  Just hard to trust his health.

I bet that team is VERY lucky to have him. He's still young, and imo an NFL caliber starting WR. The concussions might affect him longterm (heaven forbid), but there's no doubting his short-term effectiveness.

I'm sorry but he's nuts. With his health and concussion history, he could wind up brain dead from a hard hit. I like him and admire his pursuit of his dreams but man, he's putting his life on the line for a game

Exactly Jules, is Collie that desperate for cash or is he just upset that head trauma prevented him from being an elite superstar in INDY or the longterm? I can't believe that his wife is cool with Austin still playing ball in Canada.
