Would the Colts be an annual Playoff team if they were in the AFC North?

But, we may would have a better team. You build to beat your division first. Not mug effort has to be put into beating the AFC South teams

ALL 4 of the north teams have solid defenses and pretty good running games

Colts have neither of those

Perhaps that has something to do with our annual playoff shortcomings.

No, not to me it isn't. I live in VA. Baltimore is like 20-30mins (depending on traffic) from me. Cincy is 7+ hours away.

what in the name of zeus are you talking about?  Whether Baltimore is further south than Cincinnati or vice versa has absolutely nothing to do with you being from VA.

My thinking is they would be very competitive in the AFC North division , but certainly wouldn't have as many division titles as in the AFC South , or get as many home playoff games. In the long run , the Colts would be better in the AFC North, because they would have to prepare their team personnel wise to beat Pittsburgh and Baltimore every year in the division, and New England later. All these teams are physical, cold weather teams. I didn't throw the Bengals in there because they never win a playoff game, and the Browns are the Browns.
