Colts have the sick bug going around the locker room

INDIANAPOLIS -- The sick bug is making its way around the Indianapolis Colts’ locker room. Safeties Sergio Brown and LaRon Landry missed their second straight day of practice because of illness. Those two were joined by cornerback Darius Butler with illness Thursday.
 

There isn’t a belief -- at this moment at least -- that the three will miss Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans.

The highlight of Thursday’s practice was that cornerback Vontae Davis, who missed last weekend’s game against Cleveland because of a concussion, was a full participant, which means he’ll likely play against the Texans.

Here’s the rest of Thursday’s injury report:

Did not practice: Receiver T.Y. Hilton (rest), guard Joe Reitz (ankle), guard Hugh Thornton (knee)

Limited practice: Linebacker Erik Walden (knee)

Hopefully those who are ill recover nicely for Sunday. If so, we are going to be a force vs the Texans. If Johnson and Mercilus are out on Sunday the Texans chances are seriously reduced. Jonathan Joseph banged up just sounds like a receiving yards record for TY
