The only problem : Is TS healthy? He was released by the Lions due to concussion problems

Oh, didn't know that. I thought he got released cause of that new TE they got. Figured they didn't need him anymore

Well if he's not healthy, Fred Davis is an option. Or let Grigson take over and find a gem somewhere

Either way, I doubt we carry on with only 2 TE's with Pep Hamilton as our OC

Dom was released Tuesday

The good news is I think we found a legit 3rd TE to go with Fleener and Allen going forward in Doyle.  I've been impressed with him.

I think if Grigs is trying to swing a trade or sign an FA, otherwise I reckon someone would have been brought up from the PS already.

I don't understand why anyone wouldn't be willing to give up a pick or 2 for a young stud receiver in their rookie contract. I'm not saying Gordon is better than Wayne, but I think if we trade for him we would have a perfect balance in our receiving corps and would be competing in the AFCCG.

Anyone that does not cost a future pick of any kind.

like it matters if the player is worth it? i would get rid of our 2nd for Josh Gordon in a heartbeat. he is worlds better then any other player we are gonna get in the 2nd next year. you're basically saying you would rather gamble with your pick instead of trading it for a proven NFL talent...some of you guys i just dont understand.

Anything that doesn't involve Josh Gordon.

He's a good player and I won't dispute that. But I have no interest in losing yet another high pick on a bonehead who well could be suspended for the season at any moment. He's a ticking time bomb.

I'd still like a #1 receiver, but I simply don't think that's feasible.

A WR.  Reggie was a mover of the chains.  We need that production.

Might not be possible to find until the offseason.  Maybe never...Reggie was special.

Was?!  You make it sound like he died!!  He'll be back next year, no doubt about it.  He walked off on his own accord.  I dont think it is a complete tear.   However i have read conflicting reports as to which is better.  Complete or partial.  Some say a partial tear is better and you can resume full abilities with it.  However i have read to that a complete is better because it is easier to reconstruct and strengthen.

    • So true. I was watching his presser yesterday as I wanted to get a feel for him after some of the negativity surrounding his personality on the draft day, and I LOVED how happy and excited he was. I had a little fear that some of the fan base would buy into the negativity prematurely and make it a rough start for him, but I don’t think so anymore.    I think he and Latu are both going to be playmakers for us, if not this year then very soon. Have a feeling they bring exactly want this team needed to finally take off. They bring a lot of faith to me, together with Richardson and Steichen. Can’t explain it, but the pieces to the puzzle is suddenly to see on the table.
    • Cubs beat the Pirates tonight but the Brewers won as well, what else is new lol. Cubs are now 23-16, Brewers are 23-15.
    • Couldn’t agree more! The chip on his shoulder is a very good look. That said, I have always valued the “clutch” gene in players.    It’s truly something that can’t be coached and can’t be taught. AD has IT! Period. Exclamation point! He has it. Name a better receiver in the college football playoffs/ championships ever…   You can’t teach that. He has it. He can be that guy. He is the 33-32 Colts over the Pats, 4th and 1, AFC Championship, game changer. He can be that guy… Will he? I have no dang idea. But does he have the ability to be? Yes! Resounding, yes!
    • I absolutely LOVE that Mitchell picked 10 as a constant reminder that 10 WR’s were picked before him.  That is a GIGANTIC chip on his shoulder.   So far I like everything I’m reading about the kid.  There may be speed bump or hiccup some day….  But so far so good.
