uh folks.. i live out west and when we have lightining storms, you take cover. they can get bad and there is no cover out west per say. they are looking at safety. they are nothing to mess with. i've had 4 horses killed in 3 years by lightining.

Rain? Yes!  Snow? Yes!  Sleet? Yes!  Hail?  uh ...  mmmm..  Lightning? Heck no!  I live in SW Florida, and they have lightning detectors that warn people off golf courses, beaches etc if detected within 10 miles. Too many people killed by it, even if storm is not right on top of you and it might still be sunny. It is no joke.
