I don't paint them in the light as Narcosys.Defense lawyers are needed, especially sense the system is upside down.Lets not forget you should be innocent until proven guilty, not guilty until proven innocent.Unfortionately that's how bad things have got twisted. Our judicial system is far from perfect, and in all honesty in a lot of cases its just totally broke ! Not really making the judgment on this particular case, havnt been staying up on it,but that being said this is my view of our judiscial system we have now

Very well said Jay! Look, I respect law enforcement & the duties they are compelled to carry out on daily basis. My only point with Narcosys is that defense attorneys are like LBs & DE's in football. They are paid to be a thorn in the side of the prosecution & to present an alternative theory of the criminal act in question. My point is this: You play with the hand you have been dealt & if that means you put the police force & forensics team on trial. You do that.

I will follow the evidence in the Hernandez case where ever it leads, but I don't automatically give blind favoritism to the prosecution. An arrest warrant for Hernandez & a conviction of murder are 2 different plateaus to reach IMO. And why show a TV news story featuring the deceased victim's mother in an effort to influence the potential jury pool? Was Hernandez's mother asked for her feelings on a potential trail against her son or whoever raised him since birth? No huh, big surprise there...

I can also appreciate people wanting to reserve judgment until the case goes to trial to. The first move as Hernandez's defensive team to remove any mention of other prior bad acts as a pattern of weak impulse control i.e. only focus on this case & nothing else admission wise IMO.

Personally I cant wait for this to be resolved and go away, though must admit I am partaking in all the media reports like a must read crime novel without knowing  if  its villian or scapegoat is   from the fact or fiction section

Defense Attorney Statement

( from what I read here and have read over the week its accurate )

Hernandez's attorney, Michael K. Fee of Ropes & Gray LLP, released a statement Monday night criticizing the media for reporting last week that his client was about to be arrested.

"Over the past week, our client, Aaron Hernandez, has been the subject of a relentless flood of rumors, misinformation, and false reports in the media. These include the repeated publication of a supposedly confirmed report that an arrest warrant had been issued for Aaron, a report that was exposed as untrue," Fee wrote. "None of these false reports come from official sources and we appreciate the professionalism and restraint shown by the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office to date with regard to its public statements while its investigation is underway. Out of respect for that ongoing investigation, we will continue to refrain from commenting on its substance."

The Patriots, who reportedly banned Hernandez from team facilities on Thursday, have not commented since then. The NFL has said it would make no statement during the investigation.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is waiting for the legal process to take its course, but he could suspend Hernandez under the league's strictures on player behavior.

I am simply stating if I owned the team....I would not risk it...my money...my football family.'  I love Hernadez's game....ON THE FIELD.  Off field...not so much!

I would hope that all teams would promote staying out of trouble.  I am sure a Colt or two will drink and drive...or go swimming in a canal or something :)

Thanks for the reply.

And.....Brazill has to go and use illegal drugs.  Good luck to Whalen and Palmer...and now Kelley may stick too...they are liking his work ethic.  4 games you cost us your services Mr. Brazill....who needs you? :cuss:  :cuss:  :ticked:  :flaming:  :ticked:  :flaming:  :hairout:  :Nuke:

8:50 a.m.: Aaron Hernandez was just shown on NFL Network being taken out of his house in handcuffs. NFL Network is saying Hernandez did not have a shirt of when he opened his door and that would assume he did not know this was coming. He slipped a shirt on while already in cuffs. No one knows what Hernandez is being charged with yet.

Anyone know any of the charges?

Havent heard, but sure he must of been told what for , at least i think that is how it works

Saying records were sealed earlier as to not give away to him the imminent arrest

I'd guess that he was arrested for obstruction of justice so they could bring him in and grill him about the murder.

Probably, this from just now

A number of law enforcement officials in suits entered the home at about 8:45 a.m. At about 8:47 officers walked out of the home with Hernandez in handcuffs and placed him in the back of a police cruiser.

On Friday, a source told FOX 25's Bob Ward that a paper warrant had been issued for Hernandez on an obstruction of justice charge in connection with the death of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd, of Dorchester. It was not immediately known if Hernandez was arrested on that charge

I've heard no mention of the other 2 guys he was with that night. Has anybody been following them around the past week?

Have either of them been arrested as well? Have they even been questioned?

Never seen word one on them save all together that night

FROM THAT LIVE BLOG LINK I POSTED AND ALSO BELOW JUST THIS

9:04 a.m.: We will soon know what Hernandez is being charged with when he’s brought to court.

Many assumed the police would allow the tight end to turn himself in. That obviously did not happen

That cop on the left needs to learn how to tie his tie. It looks very silly hanging over 4 inches.

when I had my residency interview I was later told after I got the program, 1 interviewer was amazed at my knowledge   but actually commented to rest of admission committee that my tie wasn't fully closed / pushed up properly at the neck

& remember before the interviews was told u never know what they look at, I was told to make sure my shoes were spit shined & a great answer for 1 program may be a bad answer for another

I was told I was lucky and got squeezed in as my knowledge was vast but usually this program, best in country doesn't like Med School valedictorians / 1st in class as are afraid one is too competitive and cant work well with others when cooperation was needed, other less prestigious programs love that 1st in class crap

& 1st in class is nothing,, what matters more is how u are clinically with  diagnosing and treating patients, bedside manner   and handling being supervised by the teachers in a clinical settings, luckily I  was good enough there to which  proved I'd be  cooperative with other clinicians and handled patients professionally  and thus a worthy addition even though 1st in class was a negative, plus I did a months externship at the program, the only 1 i did and showed them what to expect

They were picked up leaving AH's house after the house cleaning (late Monday afternoon) in another car rented to AH.  Questioned and released. One had a big black eye swollen shut. I'm assume they are Connecticut home boys. There has been zero news on them sense that time.

They've been like ghost. I find it strange that there has been no leeks or someone with an axe to grind releasing the names and other info about them. I'm sure they've plenty of enemies and a troubled past.

Patriots just released Hernandez!

confirmed on NFL.com

moved said to be a way to disassociate team from the situation so hopefully team can move arm & lessen training camp distractions

Team supposedly had news situation was bad

also his layers say way he is arrested indicates charges may be worse than obstruction of justice

Many are saying police have witness or inside source, maybe they made a deal and turned states evidence, this way police go after the high profile one

just speculation , who knows

The first to talk usually gets the best deal. Just like on TV.
