I posted his stats before and after injury and they were pretty different. I will see if I can find them again. -
When I reviewed Young's tape, the one thing I didn't like is that I felt that he left the pocket too soon too often. This put him into those pressures (as you stated) earlier than it should have. Then he would scramble and throw a 30 yd laser to someone with pinpoint accuracy. This would leave me saying "I can't believe he just completed that throw. Can he do that all the time?" He does it a lot, but it makes me nervous when he takes off too early. My question is, can he continue to play like that on the NFL level? If so, he will be a star. Or, will his 5'10" slim frame take a lot of hits being outside of the pocket that much?

True but his stats really aren’t that different between the two years Except there was less passes and like 5 less touchdowns. His opponents were also harder in 2022 (6 ranked teams) than 2021 ( 2 ranked teams). The best win in 2021 was against ranked Florida which he had 87 yards and 1 td/1 int.

He thinks once they do their evaluations if they feel they don’t want one of them they will. But a lot comes down to if they think Arizona is going to trade out. Problem is if stroud did drop to 3 it becomes more expensive on draft night. He mentioned if they do move to 3 it will be before the draft. Said it will come down to if they feel there is a separation between Levis and Richardson. -
No one would get drafted if everything was based on performance alone. And once again its just common sense to know injuries effect your play. Have you tried walking down the street with 2 sprained knees? Ultimately teams are asking themselves what they cam do in the future with a guy and his tools. Just bc you see regression doesnt mean the guy cant play well. You have to know what factored into the regression. Secondly 2022 Will Levis doesnt mean he can never be 2021 Will Levis again. People most certainly can and do improve all the time. If everything hinged on current production then we certainly would not be talking about Richardson. But teams look at the players tools and ask themselves what can we do with what stands out about him? Its not all performance based.
