  1. Give people a break. They paid hard earned money to watch luck this season. He keeps his millions but those people are out thousands. When the time comes, fans will honor him but emotions were too raw for that tonight.
  2. Hi everyone, For the past 12 years, I've been a STH living in Indy. I now find myself an STH living in Florida, which makes it a bit tougher to both get to games and watch them on TV. I have a strategy to watch the regular season, but I'm not sure what my options are to watch pre-season games. Do I have to tap into the Fox broadcast somehow, or are there a streaming option? Thanks! Crazyrob
  3. The Colts lease requires the CIB to install new field turf every 10 years. The turf is being installed by the Motz Group. Same company doing the turf at the practice facility.
  4. I just paid for my 2017 tickets and am curious how many people are renewing too.
  5. Not official, but here's a listing of draft positions after the Colt's loss. A top 10 pick is doable, but we'd need to lose to Jax and have the Panthers and Cardinals win (I'm assuming the Eagles lose). Looks like we could be anywhere between 10-16 realistically. http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2016/12/24/14076782/nfl-draft-order-2017-49ers-browns-bears-jaguars
  6. Just got my renewal via the mail and Irsay's letter says there will be no ticket price increase in 2017! So enjoy your 2016 AND 2017 ticket prices
  7. The Colts have announced 2016 ticket prices. Slight increases across the board with the exception of the purple seats (624-629). The biggest increase is in the lower level. Guess we gotta pay for luck somehow. http://prod.static.colts.clubs.nfl.com/assets/docs/tickets/2016-season-pricemap.pdf Click on the image for a comparison of 2015 and 2016 prices.
  8. Actually...The league would not allow it if he had gone undrafted (which he did). The only way he would be allowed to sit out is if he was drafted. He could simply choose not to sign with the team that drafted him and then enter the 2016 draft. Here's part of an SI article which includes a quote from Greg Aiello along with an example of Bo Jackson doing the exact same thing: Another report, this time from ESPN's Adam Schefter, then had Collins's camp stating that the LSU product would not sign with a team if he were taken in Round 4 or later, thereby giving him a backdoor opport
  9. And then La'el would sit out a year to get back into the draft in 2016. Instead the Colts didn't draft him but pursued him as a UDFA. That was the right strategy.
  10. Yes, that link says exactly what I said in my original statement. Won loss record, then by strength of schedule. Common opponents has nothing to do with it.
  11. The draft goes by WL, then strength of schedule. The playoff tiebreakers don't apply.
  12. There's no way the Colts would pick 20th. 20th will go to a team with at least 9 wins, and that ain't the Colts. Currently the Colts pick 14th and it look difficult to break into the top 10. But a pick in the 13-17 range seems reasonable if the Miami game is a loss. Heaven help us if we lose to Tennessee. http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/12/20/10631624/2016-nfl-draft-order-chargers-titans-browns

  14. Even before the start of this year, I was cautious about people saying Luck will be the highest paid player in the NFL. He definitely will be one of the highest paid players, but people seem to have already anointed him as deserving of the biggest contract. Luck is a beast when he is "on" but he seems to be equally as bad when he is "off". I see no reason to make him the highest paid player, but he should be towards the top of the food chain.
  15. He's contracted through 2017, but perhaps if they dump Brees they'll clean house and get rid of him as well. I'd be up for it if he became available.
  16. This is a little blurry, but this house was west of Broad Ripple in Indy. It's since had new siding.
  17. I agree. The whole "you won't believe who the Colts picked...get off the board so you're not angry.....they took a WR, I kid you not" was pretty lame last night. There's a reason the networks don't tell the pick before Goodell. It's pretty standard etiquette to not post things ahead of when they are broadcast. Perhaps you could start a separate thread for those who want to know early.
  18. Maybe the top row of 600, but no all seats. I sit in row 4 of the 600 level on the 35 yards line. I love the seats. You can't be in the middle of the field on the lower level without paying club level prices. The 600 level seats in mid-field are a great option. It seems the Colts agree since my section went up in price some.
  19. The two loudest stadiums in the NFL are open air.
  20. We don't have a dome. We have a roof...
  21. Correct, ejection is a judgement call. That note ends by saying any such action should be reported to the commissioner. It doesn't state that such action warrants an automatic ejection. So again this is a judgment call. The rule is there, but it is definitely up to the discretion of the official whether or not Walden should have been ejected.
