They are very similar hits and we are fortunate that Luck wasn't seriously injured, like Locker was. I froze for a second when Luck was sacked. Thankfully he jumped up and smiled, knowing that he got popped. ;)

Well Andrew has the size advantage being 6'4" 240 and Locker being 6'3" 230. Locker's shoulder was hurt the previous week or two earlier too and didn't Locker have shoulder injuries in college?

Locker has a chronic dislocated shoulder that he suffered earlier. This was just re-aggravating that injury.

I felt much better when Andrew got up quickly with that goofy smile of his.... but, that easily could have been an injury to put him out a week, a month, or the rest of the season.

We got very, very luck. No pun intended.

i am scared JJ Watt will take luck's head off. dude is an animal and i think we can put all 5 of our starting linemen on him and he still gets 2 or 3 sacks with 4-5 swatted balls. he is just unreal.

I have taken a few hits like that and they aren't fun.

Interesting thing is, Locker got caught by a CB while Luck got knocked by a LB.

One got injured, one popped up, but both have similar styles of play.

Not questioning Locker's toughness but Luck is almost like a tank

guess that settles the debate on if it was worth a flag or not. The league doesn't fine you for "clean" hits. Like I said at the time people can hate the rule but it's the rule and was called correctly on Sunday just like Mike Pereira said.
