I mean... maybe as a camp body?  But those are a dime-a-dozen, and much cheaper than what he probably expects to earn.  A little experience and leadership could rub off on the younger guys during camp.  But the price would have to be right for Ballard to consider this.

What kind of player is he?  Coverage? ( I do not think so, right?)  Or is he a downhill run stopping thumper? ( I think fits better, yes?)  Do we need an aging player who's productivity is mostly in the run game, and decreasing?  BB will have him do what he is good at, and only that...for how long who knows...
