Perhaps one reason is because of his size. At 5-foot-11, 185 pounds, he’s not exactly the biggest guy on the field. He also isn’t the most physical, and perhaps his size has something to do with this. Abraham can sometimes get taken out of plays while failing to shed any blocks.

A lack of physicality can mean bad news in the NFL. But Abraham can certainly become more physical and will put on more muscle and weight during his quest to make an NFL roster.

Ballard does have a good track record of getting solid defensive players in the lead rounds especially cornerback.

On paper, which is all we have to go on right now, he’s killed it in terms of value.  Hopefully these guys produce and don’t show why they slipped.

This guy reminds me a ton of Isaiah Rodgers, same build, same ball hawk ability, we will see how it translates to the NFL but Rodgers was on a great trajectory before he decided to sell his immediate future down the river.
