Files lays some lame ducks up there.....dang

I have to say I was a bit surprised they benched Minshew , but money talks. He looked a bit rusty . Now they are up the  creek  with a 4-6 record.  Foles might be moving on again after this year.

Houston's streak still in tact

So, is it fair to say that his signing was a good FA signing by CB?  I think so.  It took a while, but he seems to be hitting a nice stride right now.  H started against KC and has kept it up since.

Still a bit of football to play, but he's been what most of us hoped he would be, yes?

Never played a snap and didn’t tell anyone until we got back from TH

What made it worse it happened before the game we got destroyed by Terre Haute North then had to ride a bus back to Princeton(2 Hour Drive)

My son was the QB for T. H. North not this year but last when we played at Princeton.

Once Sheard came back he hit his groove. I don’t think that is a conincidence.

I don't understand why people hate the prevent

I think teams sometimes go to it too early.  Sometimes you'll see teams go to prevent when they are up 2 scores with 3:00 left to play.  That is too early, especially when your regular defense has been effective.  Up 3 scores with just over 2:00 to play, though?  Yeah, prevent makes sense in that situation.

The last 2 years the Tigers have started by playing 2  big 5A schools

     Will change next year

My son was a game manager for the most part, he had good games and bad.  Against 5a schools he needed a good Oline for him to be effective, which didn’t happen often.  Lol

Wow.  Just said on the radio that this is the first time EVER that the Colts have done this.

They just corrected themselves.  It is actually the third time that the Colts have ever done it.  I was pretty amazed by that statement, so I am not surprised that it was an error.

    • Wish him all the best, I think he can be a better player than we seen here
    • That’s because outside of a “hurt” Leonard and Buckner no one on the defense is a house hold name outside of Indy.  You are right though they are talented.  I think Buckner and Stewart are the best DT combo in the league and I’ll still put the Colts 4-3 linebackers up against anyone in the league.  The key is the secondary, as young as they are (outside of Kenny Moore) they are going to make mistakes at times but they showed what they can be vs Baltimore.  If they play more games like that then not this defense could be special.
    • Do have edge Laiatu Latu (UCLA) as a senior where in Week 1 he had an impressive outing with 3 sacks, 3 hits and 4 hurries to earn 93.9 PFF pass-rushing grade earning 2023 PFF TOW 1 honors.  DL Leonard Taylor III, Miami Hurricanes, Sophomore was another player deeper on my watch list that I left off who earned 2022 PFF TOW 8 honors.   Good find on Roman Hembry of Maryland.  Averaging over 5 yards per carry and 9+ yards per catching.  Impressive stat line from 2022 and seems to be repeating for 2023.      WR-Z Adonai Mitchell (Texas), Junior.  Missed 9 games in 2022 due to an ankle injury.  Impressive one-handed catch in the National Championship game where he played for Georgia in 2022.  Risk/reward potential as could see his draft stock rise if he remains healthy.  Will he declare for the draft or risk another injury?
    • I'll agree on the mid-season but his reset really helped and Heyward was a gold glover, not expecting that from Seiya.  It was a bad miss by him, but it shouldn't have been a matter. The Cubs blew it with Ross poor decision is my biggest issue. Since it seems like PCA is only there for D, who brings him in so early. Like I just can't figure out how ross is this dumb. I'm hoping he's fired after season especially if they miss Ross is biggest weakness. He taxed bullpen super early in year
    • @LJpalmbeacher2,   I would still be weary of putting Cincy that high. I get it though because of the last 2 years and Burrow is great. Burrow to me doesn't look near 100% healthy though. I still think the Ravens win that division.
