Nothing official but some stuff on twitter that he is going to tryout for cowboys.  His foot injury must be worse than we realize.

Not happy about this. Looks like mathis signing with the Texans. From his twitter

@joe_sahil_IV: "HOUSTON TEXANS" I'm going to give you my all

A ton of CBs too

Welcome to an actual competitive NFL training camp. 50% of them (including guys who might have been on the roster last year) will be cut.

Don't get the Jojo Mathis Fascination, maybe it's the name and being undersized?  He was an ok Rusher for WASH.....  he was pretty unremarkable till he got hurt and became a sort of urban legend the next few games he played after that.....  he's been fairly unremarkable overall....

I disagree.  I watched a lot of pac 12 and UW football this year.  He really impressed me.  He was dominant in several games including vs stanford.  His foot injury is the only reason he was still avail.

It's the offseason, there's always a training camp legend superstar or two that becomes a beloved folk heroes on this board (see: Da'Rick Rogers, Griff Whalen)

Film of UFA RB Dalton Crossan.  He reminds me of Darren Sproles with his quick feet, has decent hands, and has played KR for his school. Not bad.

Please don't lmao then you'll be joining the other guys who thought we had a Sproles type of player joking around btw

I'm a huge Reds and Griffey Jr. fan, so it's more nostalgic than anything. It'd be fun to see another generation of Griffey contribute to a team I love.

Unless he's a dynamo in the return game, I don't see it unfortunately. May just be a camp body.

Tell me 'bout it.  I lived in the Seattle area and was a huge Mariner fan when he came up as a 19 YO.  I remember a picture of Jr. with a 3 YO Trey wearing a backwards baseball hat...

With Crossan and Mack both looking for a roster spot, I believe Ferguson's chances of staying have dwindled considerably. Ferguson was a big disappointment last year. I'm not sure how he earned a roster spot.

I think there's a decent chance that Ferguson ends up on the Practice Squad this year.

He's eligible for that I believe...
