I was a Magic Johnson guy, yeah, I know odd but loved his style of play as a young kid. I thought he was the best thing ever with his passing and just his love for the game and will to win. He could score anytime he wanted, get teammates involved, Rebound, and control a game much like Bird could. Bird was a better shooter and from here, so I didn't dislike him by no means. -

Totally understand!! I guess I’ve always rooted for the Celtics since watching Larry Bird as a kid. Even though it was towards the end of his career,(I was 10 when he retired) I knew he was from Indiana so liked them. Also helps that I’m not a huge basketball fan and only root for the Pacers bc they are the home team. I will admit I’m a fair weather fan when it comes to Bball so won’t really watch them when they are bad. I kind of root for greatness in the NBA and just enjoy watching good basketball no matter the team -
No one said it is shocking. It is about graduation. As I wrote in another post, if someone who happens to be vegan is asked to speak at a graduation, would it be proper to focus the graduation speech on keeping a plant-based diet? What does that have to do with graduation? These women paid to go to college. One can be a homemaker without going to college. No??? Many of these women have student loans. I guess their husbands should be saddled with the debt? If a woman is lucky enough to find a man who earns enough to let her be a homemaker, then that is their choice. One of my sisters did just that after working in corporate America before getting married. Her husband earned enough money to let her stay and care for the children. They are all grown now. Another sister had to work because he husband did not. Thankfully she had her education and was very successful at work. My third sister worked, then stayed home with the kids for a few years and returned to work. Everyone made different choices. They are all doing well and looking forward to retirement and their kids are well and all well-adjusted. The point is everyone has a choice. And no, Butker did not talk about options. He said they were told a "diabolical lie" about pursuing a career. Guess what? His mother is a physicist, his sister is a Physician's Assistant and his aunt is the Senior Vice President of a company. He should tell them that they are living diabolical lies.
