Tom Brady misses practice with calf injury...

It is significant that he missed practice. Toward the end of the year, they hold Brady out for rest but not week one. Something to watch but I would think maybe he just took a hit to the calf and they are being precautious. He said he will be ready to go on Sunday so seems like a non-issue but we'll see.

He hurt his calf last season right before game 1, didn't he? Like someone fell on him during practice? I could be way wrong, though.

Someone rolled up on him in pratice but with no injury. It was close and was a little scary for NE fans.

That was his (left, surgically repaired) knee. A Tampa d-lineman pushed a Pats o-lineman back into him at a joint practice in 2013, and rolled up his leg. Turned out to be fine.

Brady wasn't on the initial injury report Wednesday, so speculation is that he did something to his calf or ankle (Belichick does, I admit, need a physiology lesson relative to the injury report) during practice on Wednesday. He does love to practice so it takes a lot to keep him out. I'm guessing he'll be fine but am just hoping that "calf" doesn't mean "achilles" or "high ankle sprain" or something like that.

We'll know on Sunday.

He was at practice today. Brady on the radio said he was giving more mental reps yesterday. I wonder if the heat was getting to him and he was cramping so they pulled him out to hydrate. They flew down today to steamy Maimi so they can go from our heat to their heat. lol. I think this also be some of Bill just messing with the Fins because Gronk didn't let him. :)

Seems to be a non-issue...probably some cramps or a bruise or something. The Pats are very secretive with their injury lists lol. I will say Brady is one tough cookie...that hand injury he had last year HAD to affect his throwing and he toughed it out. He doesn't miss games so he will be fine...and if he is moving at all than well thats not a good sign for the Pats anyways so this is a mute point. I suppose if there was a legitament injury it could affect his ability to plant and throw...ala Peytons high ankle sprain last year but Tom has a stronger arm so I don't look for there to be a problem.
