RULES:

 

Wild Card Pick - 1 point

Divisional Round pick - 2 points

Conference Championship Round pick - 3 points

Super Bowl Pick - 5 points

 

Picks can be modified if the team originally picked AND new team are both still alive.  Ex. If you pick the Colts to beat the Broncos in the Divisional round and want to change it to the Broncos, you can do so as long as the Colts and Broncos are still in the playoffs.

 

Picks lock at kickoff.

 

Tie Breakers:

1) Correct Super Bowl pick; if tied

2) Total Correct Conference Championship picks; if tied

3) Total Correct Divisional Round picks; if tied

4) Total Correct Wild Card picks

Wildcard:

AFC:

Colts v. Chiefs - Honestly don't know. I don't want to pick against the Colts, but many times the regular season winner loses.

Chargers v. Bengals - Chargers

NFC:

49ers v. Packers - 49ers

Saints v. Eagles - Eagles

Divisional:

AFC:

Chargers v. Broncos - Broncos

Chiefs/Colts v. Patriots - Patriots

NFC:

49ers v. Seahawks - Seahawks

Eagles v. Panthers - Panthers

Championship:

AFC:

Patriots v. Broncos - Broncos

NFC:

Panthers v. Seahawks - Panthers

Super Bowl:

Panthers v. Broncos - Broncos

Side note, I can easily see the Eagles beating the Panthers and Seahawks.

Like I said in the other prediction thread, I get the impression there are a lot of Colts fans rooting for Denver to win the whole thing even if it means they beat the Colts in the process.

Great offensive teams get neutralized in the playoffs.  (1998 Vikings, 2007 Patriots and 2011 Packers ring a bell.)  I'm not saying the Patriots are going anywhere either.  In fact, they could go to the SB, but it wouldn't also surprise me if the Chiefs/Colts/Bengals beat them in the first round either.  That Denver defense is just atrocious.

 

I could easily see the Colts/Chargers/Chiefs beating the Broncos in the first round.  Two of them already did and the other is more than familiar with them.

Not sure where I criticized Manning there.  I said the defense is atrocious and offenses get shut down no matter how great they are.  Didn't say anything about Manning.
