More like....Super Bowl!

im sorry but im always optimistic. When we were 0-8 last year, i thought to myself, "Were gonna bench Painter, the backup will win our last 8 games and maybe we can slip into the wild card." Then maybe Peyton will be healthy to come back.

at 0-9. "Maybe we will win the last 7 and we still have a slight chance to make the playoffs and Peyton will come back."

at 0-10. Okay, maybe we should go for Luck! but he will back up Peyton.

Im satisfied with Lucks play though, he looks very very promising. I see the best quarterback of all time in the future. If Kurt Warner led his team to the Super Bowl and won as a rookie, so can Luck! okay?

I like the optimism, but let's be realistic. At best, we might win 10 games. With that being said, I really liked what I saw today. If our defense can continue to play like they did the 2nd half we will be well on our way to a double digit win season. Luck is definitely poised for a great season and I'm excited for the future. Probably not this year, but maybe in the next few years we can build a Super Bowl caliber team..

Conceding losses to the Patriots, Texans twice and possibly one other...the Colts could go 10-6 with their remaining schedule.

Keep in mind the second time we play the Texans is at home when the Texans may be resting their starters because they may very well have a play off bye already.

Also Hoosier keep in mind that Houston has never won in Indy, like Baltimore, Green Bay, and Minnesota. Two of which we have beaten this season. I hope we can keep the other two winless here too.

I for some reason think we had a curse put on us back in 2009 where we can't ever field a healthy team... i would like to see us have all our starters play to see how we play. i never look ahead but i think this game vs NYJ is winnable we can improve on our running game next week as well.

What makes me even more happy is we did this without Davis, without King, without Angerer. We weren't even at full strength. Casssius Vaughn did a good job on James Jones today. Total team effort!

    • It's not that their replacements are not good.   It's the depth behind the replacements.     Also. There isn't a 3T on this team better than Buckner.  To say so is nonsense
    • There comes a point where your depth isn’t that good when you lose this many players. We aren’t talking about losing one guy or two. If Paye can’t go we are talking about half of our starters and depth. Just because you replace them doesn’t mean they are any good.
    • A high ankle sprain, even if considered mild, is a different animal than the typical 'rolled' ankle sprain, and takes at least twice as long (or more) for recovery.   Though we don't know for certain yet, this is in the realm of possibility. Besides, it may be the same ankle where he's had prior history in 2022 as well as surgery in early 2023. Taking this into consideration, a multi-week absence could be an outcome for him in the short term. An improperly healed high ankle sprain has long term ramifications to consider, as well.
    • Yes, and I'm sure the Colts will field a full rotation of D lineman, with a few having to play more snaps than before,  The replacements will be as good as the linemen that won't play....Defo, Lewis, and Paye.  That's my opinion.
    • I thought Flacco did pretty dang good. It was nice seeing passes not go over our receivers heads. AR played pretty well in the short time he was in there but I still didn’t see anything that would tell us he’s fixed his accuracy on short/intermediate throws. That being said AR is the starter unless he plays his way out or gets injured again.
