Former coach of Vikings and Cardinals dies at 67 years old this morning Friday July 22nd of cardiac arrest. Compiled a 113 and 94 record as a HC. Most notably remembered for:

RIP Denny. I still remember that MNF game. I actually went to sleep because the bears offense was so pathetic. Luckily, they did not need it. Woke up the next morning and could not believe they won. One of the epic rants after a game. The man had passion!

I do wonder however if his firey nature contributed to health problems like high blood pressure and cardiac arrest and ultimately led to his early death

Was he stressed out off the field as much as he was on it? I hope he wasn't reciting that "crown 'em" speech every day before bed.

That had to be one of the top rants in NFL history right along with Jim Mora's playoff rant.
