I don't see us carrying 8 D-Lineman either. It'll be 7 I would assume. That's usually what most teams roll with. Either Quarles or Parry will be on the PS unless we make a trade involving one of our DT's. We'll definitely make a trade if I had to guess but who knows who it will be or for what. Probably looking at 4 safeties too. And I hope Ben Heenan is good enough to make it. That's Bobby's boy you know. Na I'm playing. LOL.

I doubt we take 3 QBs on the 53, take Bennett off as he will probably be a PS player, and add another O Lineman and I think that will be close.

IIRC, Grigs usually signs a late veteran FA or two. With June 1 cuts looming, maybe there is a player to be had out there

May 12 is the date this year. So maybe there's a couple guys that get picked up in as little as a week...

I was just looking at the remaining free agent list. There's actually some pretty decent players left. I would like to see Grigs take a look at a guy like Stevie Brown. He could be had dirt cheap, and he could end up being a steal. Remember how good he was two years ago? Red Bryant's still out there too. And I just straight up hope we sign Brian De La Puente. It seems like he would be older than 30 right? He's just 30 years old. That surprised me. But I don't know. Sometimes it seems like Grigs had rather go with a unknown than to sign a proven vet who can be had extremely cheap. Like De La Puente last year. He signed for vet minimum and was very, very good for Chicago. He would've made our line a whole lot better.

Our safety situation is gonna be interesting isn't it. We have Mike Adams, Dwight Lowery, and Clayton Geathers who will definitely be on the 53. Then guys like Dewey McDonald, Winston Guy and Colt Anderson competing for the other spot or 2. I think its gotta be Colt Anderson because of special teams, but I can see us keeping 5.

 Ballard or someone over J Robinson

 5 wide receivers so no on Brown

 too many d-lineman so no on Quarles

 Muamba is at high risk

Sadly I don't think David Parry will make the 53. 2 NTs is enough for a position which only plays around 50% of the snaps, and I don't see Parry beating out Quarles (who the coaching staff apparently love), Chap or Montori for a roster spot.
