what do you think of the tebow jags rumor?

I don't think Tebow would be the answer for Jags problems.

With Jones-Drew, they would be a dangerous combination. The Jaguars just traded away Mike Thomas, so it's not like Gabbert has anyone to throw to but Mercedes Lewis...Plus I would take Tebow over Gabbert in any game lol.

Jags' D is solid but suffers from being on the field too much. If Tebow and MJD can keep drives alive with their running, they will either get one-on-one matchups on the outside hands down and can keep the D rested to make it more efficient. The big question is, how has Tebow's throwing improved to make those basic throws vs one-on-one matchups. He did go a lot of 3 and outs putting that Denver D on the field a lot but he sure did his own thing in the 4th qtr.

I think Tebow is a good fit for the Jags for several reasons.

Tebow would leave 1 lackluster NFL team for another... seems like a gargantuan step backward to me...Like willingly walking off a cliff to your own demise.

Tebow does deserve to at least play QB somewhere in the league strictly based on what he helped Denver achieve last year. Considering that the new Jags HC is named Mike Mularkey, Tebow being sent or traded there sounds like a lot of malarky to me anyway. Like someone is making it all up as we stroll and travel along IMO.

Dude is a horrible NFL QB....
please let it happen...
Either way they're not much of a threat.

God, I love train wrecks especially when the locomotive goes full speed ahead with reckless abandonment and flies right off the tracks and explodes into a million little pieces literally and figuratively.

Provided of course that my Indianapolis Colts are strong, intact, and ready to set the NFL world on fire that is... :pass: :Nuke::lombardi:

If he can't beat out Sanchize what makes anyone think he could beat Gabbert?

He'll probably get a chance in New York at some point if the Jets keep losing.

Eh, I think the thing with that is the fact that Rex Ryan is tied to Mark Sanchez, he was his first ever draft pick as a head coach. Mularkey, however, is not bound to Gabbert in any way. He could bring Tebow in to revitalize both the fanbase and the team. Tebow has one more playoff win on his belt than Gabbert, anyway...Lol.

I take joy in this only because it causes Steelers fans great pain. :)

    • Latu is an absolute beast.  Indy is going to love him.
    • McConkey has knee issues that will probably remove him from the Colts board there.
    • I just knew there was going to be a run on WRs later in the first.   welp, hoping we trade up for either AD (character concerns and all) or Troy Franklin.   there is no way we can leave this draft not drafting some type of burner in this deep WR draft.     Welp, can’t be too mad.  We can’t pick ‘em all and I’m ok with who we picked.
    • I haven't paid much attention to the draft and looking OR making mocks 'cause with Ballard you usually will be disappointed...... like most on this Forum are tonight. Lol   But I wasn't surprised by a defensive linemen being picked. I didn't think he would go CB or trade up for a elite receiver or Bowers would fall to 15. And honestly I know noting about Latu  except a few highlights I seen switching from the draft and Yankee game.  I liked the highlights but not crazy about the conference he played in and  his medical history.   I was hoping for Bowers but not surprised he's not a colt especially when Denver chose the last QB and the raiders were right behind them. I heard the raiders liked Bowers and with no QB left to possibly sway them I had a feeling they would grab him. We all know it was unlikely Ballard would trade up for him(even if he had him high on his board?)   Kudos for the bears getting a great prospect, I hope they don't mess him up.  And to the Patriots for getting imo the second best QB. The Falcons getting Pence for life after Cousins(which may be sooner than later) I think was a good move.
    • I mean, i kinda ma because in year 4 Trey had 13.5 sacks and probably way more pressures than paye has had in year 4.  Paye has one more year to show he can be the pass rusher we need.     and only reason why Trey was being compared to Paye is because someone else brought him.  There is honestly no comparison when it comes to their year 4s
