When AR is healthy why not plan to play him and Flaco this way. Start Flaco 1st quarter and 2 ND quarter start AR. The defense will not know who will start 3rd quarter. AR will be getting his reps while helping us win games

Even if flacco starts I'd  have packages for AR. AR can make throws flacco cant and flacco is better at short intermediate  stuff

Will never happen if AR is healthy.  QBs (and the team) need to establish a rhythm.

What if you have an opening drive to then nothing till the 2 minute warning. So much for rhythm. What changes in the game will produce in a change of pace and confusion to a defense

That usually really screws up the locker room.

Its AR's team win or lose. We spent a very high draft pick on him and they want to see more data on his play before benching him. I like Richardson but he needs to be smarter when he runs and made better decisions when he throws bad passes. Everyone said he was inaccurate in college but Ballard needed a better QB badly to save his job and they were forced to choose AR because Houston took Stroud

Wait, what if instead of alternating them each quarter, we just ask the other team which plays they plan to hit the quarterback on? That way we can put AR in when they’re not going to hit the quarterback, and switch over to Flacco when they’re going to hit the quarterback. It would be perfect for AR’s development. You might be onto something here…

Yeah, no one’s thought of it because it’s a proven, terrible idea. The old saying “if you have two starting qbs, you have none” applies to your idea.

Your key word is old I'm sure you like the same old D we trot out there every week. Not often do you have 2 qb's that can compliment each other like we have this year. AR would be getting the reps he needs while also giving us the accurate passes from Joe plus keeping the defense guessing

It's not a good idea.   It's not happening.  Let the thread die

Look at what the Packers did with Jordan Love.... sit him behind Rogers for 2 years and look how good he is and he had several years as a starting college QB  as opposed to Richards only had 7 games... this has nothing against pure talent and his off the chart RAS  ( a Ballard Favorite) ... he could let the speed of the game  come to him... become a better passer...especially on the short throws ... Develop into the QB they want... and a Longer career...

or we keep pushing him out their and will be Lucky if we get 6 years we got out of LUCK.... and Peyton told Isray he had to draft Luck and start him immediately... why ? IMO Peyton knew he would never have another chance to get back to the SB Bowl here because of the back loaded contracts coming due for Mathis, Freeney, Wayne... we did not have the $$ to keep them... he comes out here to Colorado to the Broncos knowing they had talent and the $$ to go for another ring....

Big surprise and told my son he would retire a Colt... and yet he did not...

There is a reason no one has thought of this…

We were watching the World Series one year and the pitcher was being changed. My Mom was in her nineties, and she asked why they were taking him out. I said his arm is tired. She asked “why doesn’t he just throw with the other arm for a while and let his arm rest?”

(I think Will Levis and Carson Wentz think like my Mom did????)
