Burrow Out for the Year

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the NFL is investigating the Cincinnati Bengals for failure to report Joe Burrow on the injury report.

Video taken when the Bengals arrived at the stadium with Joe Burrow sporting a right wrist support.

I hope that Zac Taylor isn't going to be the next Bill Belichick.

In his final game of the 2023 regular season, McCarron went 28-of-35 on the day, throwing for 420 yards and six touchdowns — the yardage and touchdowns the most in a single game by an XFL passer in league history. He also set a league record for single-season touchdown passes with 24 that year. He was named 2023 league MVP by one of the few news outlets dedicated to sole coverage of the league, XFL News Hub.

Been a strange QB season so far so not out of the realm of possibility they roll with A.J. over Browning and he sees his NFL career revitalize.

Dang bro.. how many starting QBs is that?!

P.s. I guess our Bengals game gets a lot easier

Someone posted a list on twitter.

I think it came to 12 starting QBs with at least one missed game. That’s gotta be historical?

This year has been bad for QBs with the injuries.  Kind of makes me feel better about what we did with AR.  Instead of letting his shoulder heal and risking re-injury, just fix it once and for all.

He’s to hoping next season is different. It’s a QB graveyard this year. I keep checking my phone on Sundays wondering who’s next to be knocked out for the season…

I think AR will be fine next year.  With a full season workout plan and better IQ regarding protecting himself, he should be ok, hopefully.  I still want us to use his legs, but similar to hurts.  A couple of designed plays but majority should be opportunistic (scrambles, rollouts, etc.)

and yeah, it’s crazy.  The Super Bowl seems like it’s going to be KC vs Eagles again as they seem to have been the healthiest.

Yep. I’ve been saying it: the NFL wants a Swifty bowl.

Heard in the radio, 19 out of the 32 starting QB1s on week one have been hurt and missed at least one game. 11 are out for the year and 10 rookie QBs have started this year, most in history

Every year, we'd always repeat the previous SB playing teams, and then other teams would win over us

Not long ago, everybody was saying Rams were going to repeat the SB run..

Actually, Eagles and Chiefs aren't running over opponents like last year. Washington Commanders scored 31 points in both their matchups against the Eagles! And, Chiefs WRs start dropping passes and their offense goes awry every few games.

Not that I care about the swifty crap. But honestly I think a Superbowl rematch would be absolutely crazy.. I think the eagles would get the revenge this year. But I dont think we have been alive for a Superbowl rematch, I'm down for it!

Ravens vs Lions in the SB, I picked it before the season and I stand by it. As long as Jackson or Goff don't get injured haha . You never know, this year has been insane with the QB injuries. I think Ravens upset the Chiefs in the AFC and in the NFC the Lions pull a shocker over Eagles.

Ravens are classless, and the Lions have yet to win it all. I’ll be cheering hard for the Lions if that happens.

trashy siggy flicker GIF- those Ravens are, pure classless lmao

The fact that they’re still salty about the move is a little… yeah… I mean the new team has won multiple Super Bowls and I believe has the best win loss record for a new franchise. It’s not like they’ve sucked…

In reality as a fan, I can't stand them, but I go by who I think will win games based on eye test, how teams matchup, and gut more than anything. That is why I probably do well in our picks segment every year, because normally I pick with my brain and not my heart. When it comes to the Colts, sometimes I cave in though lmao .

In my lifetime, I don't think I will ever hate anyone more than the Pats and Steelers. They are my 1a and 1b.

The NFL won't be getting a "Swiftie bowl" even if the Chiefs are in it.  TS is on her International tour in early February and most likely wouldn't be at the game. (yay) It means I can watch the Super Bowl if KC is in it without being subjected to hundreds of views of Swift.

I want the Ravens in the Super Bowl rather than the Chiefs. Not a big fan of the Ravens, but they're better than KC. The AFC needs someone new to represent them.

I honestly should hate the Chiefs because they win a lot but I don't. Mahomes is easy to root for and Andy Reid is a real likeable guy. They are nothing like Tom Brady and BB in my book.

Ditto.. I dont understand how people are already tired of KC/Mahomes when we just got done with a 20 year reign of Patriots/Brady .. it's going to take so much to rinse that taste outta my mouth.

    • He’s got one stop to make before he goes home for the summer.    Apparently their travel plans were the genesis of the whole brouhaha.    Even in the wacky world of pro wrestling this guy is a soft putz. 😂
    • It was def not a no-brainer for them...or they likely do it much earlier. It almost has to be the end of Dayo in Indy because now they have Latu, Paye, Lewis and Ebukam under contract through 2025.
    • I think based on how they run this defense and player importance.  I truly believe that Murphy and Mitchell could have the same grade, but he is man corner and Murphy is a 3 tech. The 3tech is like the qb of this defense. Everything runs through him. Murphy would have been the pick and I could have lived with that. I really wonder what the Colts offered to move up ?  We will probably find out some day. I bet if it was as low as # 4, I bet it was this years #15 and 2 other 1st rounders.
    • They couldn't have known they were the only ones interested in Penix though. I had heard that LV was also interested, but there's always rumors at this time.   No guarantee there will be a QB they like as much as Penix next year, or the following year. Looking at the premium picks it required to get QB 4-6 in this draft, it could be a really steep price to move from the mid 20s to get a QB too.    I guess if they think they can be a playoff team with Cousins for 2-3 years, then there is some logic to making sure you get the guy when you can. Plus, Penix is a bit of a developmental prospect, so Cousins buys time for him to develop, while also allowing them to compete/contend. It's dual paths.   I don't know if I see a collision course with Cousins. He's a really good QB and he will be the starter for at least the next two years (first two seasons are both gtd), but prob 3 years. I am sure that is understood in the locker room. After that, they re-evaluate and there's a chance they are able to make a smooth transition. Plus the young skill position players will be in their primes and in a better position to support a young QB.   It's an interesting approach. No idea if it will work ahd might be overkill. But it's far better than running out Desmond Ridder and Marcus Mariota. I just don't see passing on Latu, Odunze, Murphy, etc. as some move that will drastically alter the franchise three years from now.
    • Yeah, I don't think a lot of teams wanted to budge who were in the top 10. I know Lombardi said they were 12 first rounders and Ballard said 19-21. Maybe Lombardi was more right and teams just didn't want to get out of the top 12-15 spots?
