Either way it goes it shouldn't be the person that it is right now, and the response has been rather disappointing.

This doesn't even effect me. Just trying to make sure what's right is right, and what you and Juan were doing certainly wasn't that.

 

 

You want to implement the rule, implement the rule, but implement it like it was last written.

You may want to do some commish type things and send out an email acknowledging your mistakes and let everyone know they have been restored to what they should be.

I'm something else?

 

You 2 literally tried to swindle a playoff spot away, then you get upset when I do some investigating to see what's going on and call you on it.

 

 

You didn't omit the "special" rule(like your feed post states). Now that you've fixed YOUR mistake, you have followed the "special" rule, not omitted it.

 

 

 

Don't worry I'll do your job again commish, and send out an email, so Lucky knows he is in the playoffs(that starts today), like he should been in the first place.

Nobody has tried to swindle nothing.

I asked if the playoff spot was for me according to the way I remembered the rule.

The commish made the change.

You pointed that we were not following the rule as it was modified later. In fact, I voted Y to the change and I didn't remember about it.

I asked the commish to revert the change because I think I led him to make a mistake, it's not his fault.

Everything is back as it should be.

 

I agree that this needs discussion in the offseason. I agree that we should have a list of rules easily accesible for anyone in the league at any moment. What I don't understand is your way of treating this matter as if someone was trying to steal gold from the federal reserve.

How is learning of a rule about the playoffs, when the playoffs are about to start, and looking into said rule, "treating this matter ...."

I brought it to attention(the actual voted on rule) and he just brushed it aside, didn't communicate with anyone, made a unilateral decision to keep the mistake.

The other problem is time is of the essence , which is why I put it was time sensitive in the email yesterday or day before. Playoffs start today, TODAY.

 

 

If there is going to be a change it needs to be communicated, not just in a feed where people might not see it.

 

 

 

For the record, I don't blame you for bringing up what you thought was the rule. That's what you thought it was, I blame the commish for taking it for what it was with out looking. Then just handling it however he wanted without communicating with the league, HIS error.

 

 

But yes, if you were to have kept that spot, it would have been swindled away from Lucky, whether that was the intention behind it or not.

I remember it was the highest remaining seed vs lowest remaining seed for the divisional round for the past few years. Not sure if it was changed. Well, I don't want to open another can of worms. :)

It's all good, some leagues are like that, where the brackets are locked to a side.

 

 

I was expecting to play Lucky though, wanted to end his streak of good luck.

 

Maybe next week if we're lucky enough to get a W this week

Yeah I need about 50 out of Mahomes in my other league if I am gonna have a chance to get to the championship.

 

But hey, I made it to the semis in both leagues, so it was a good year overall.
