+1 to that idea. He's an absolute leader who can weather storms.

Isn't he already ST coach of the Packers? Wouldn't that be a lateral move?

Need to give him assistant HC title like the Browns did with Bubba.  I bet he would come.  He knows we think a lot of him to bring him back for the final HC interviews.

Yeah, Steichen needs to be on board with it because Ballard and Irsay were the ones determining Bisaccia's candidacy, before Steichen was hired. I don't see why Steichen won't but there is a possibility Steichen may want someone else too.

If they weren’t willing to make Bubba assistant HC then why would they do it for Bisaccia?

In my humble opinion - the Colts were foolish to allow Bubba Ventrone to walk.

 

I think the Browns were geniuses in hiring Ventrone - by adding "Asst Head Coach" to his resume & title.

 

I think Rich Biasaccia would be a good hire.

I’m not questioning if it would be a good get or the Colts, it would. I’m questioning why/if RB would want to take the job, with Indy.

I don’t think it’s as big of a loss as suggested.  A loss for sure but think they’ll be able to get someone else to coach special teams

It is all about the money. I am sure if we want Rick Biasaccia, it can be done. It is about Shane and Ballard. Now I must admit that there maybe less expensive and talented ST in both the NFL and college ranks.

Brian Mason, Notre Dame ST coach is someone we need to look into.

I’m in favor of letting the head coach choose who he wants for position coaches and assistant head coach. Forcing a new HC to take a guy and give him a promotion would be a bad start.

Some thought that Bicaccia should have been hired as the HC. I wouldn't have a problem with him being named assistant HC.
