What happened to the wind on that FG??  ..... the ball looked like it had a missile guidance system.....straight and strong as can be :D

Reminds me of the 13-0 Bills Patriots game in 2008 in Week 17 (when Brady was hurt), it was SUPER windy (probably worse than tonight), Patriots had no problems making their field goals while Lindell's kicks would literally hook one way and then zip back the opposite direction..

Wow, really fast delay of game call.

And Knox seemingly didn't bring his hands to the game.

I was hoping to get a good idea how good Patriots are before we play them but these conditions make it impossible to tell

The official Bills message board shut down a while back, not sure why, it was a pretty popular board, so I made this my default NFL board home.

The most prominent board I would think now is Two Bills Drive, probably that one, right?

Yea that’s the one. Didn’t know it was the official site.

Seriously. It’s odd… Now I’m wondering if we should just open up Lucas Oil for rain or snow when we face NE.

Not New England, but I would seriously consider it if you hosted the Bills or Chiefs in the playoffs.

I mean... Why the heck not?

I really wanted an open air stadium when Lucas Oil was built.  You play in a division with three southern teams.  Over time having those teams come north every December and play in the elements could have been such an advantage.

On the radio one day they explained really well why that didn’t happen. INDY is basically a convention city. So in order for the stadium to make sense in needed to be indoors.

I will win 200 dollars if the Pats win on my 3 team parlay. This crap needs to stop with the Bills winning and it seems like the announcers want the Bills to win.

Yep. Conventions happen all the time. Also, at least at the time, our offense with Peyton was more of a track and field type. It's just so interesting to see us as a tough, all weather type of team. I think if we're able to get into the playoffs, we'd have a good chance playing on the road in January winter conditions.

Switch to Peyton and Eli, they're very interested to see if Mac Jones can win throwing less than 5 passes.

    • The differences so far between the first 3 games of 2022 vs all of 2021  ( JT also started slow last year, IIRC)   Ryan has not extended plays and made some big throws like Wentz did...which hurts the ability to keep the D more honest.  Ryan is more of a system passer.   JT has simply not broken off any big runs...or had a big day like he did vs the Jets last year.  Both of which tends to pad stats and skew them relative to measuring more normal performances.   But yeas, defenses have figured out how to defend the offense since about the AZ game last year,   A difference from mid season last year when JT was just heating up after a slow start.
    • Cowart has a chance to show out as well, remember at one time was #1 ranked player in the country at the h.s level.
    • The only person over reacting here….   Is you.    You’ve accepted everything the player, the team and the doctors have said.    That type of thinking is EXACTLY why the NFL has a HUGE concussion problem.    The story has now been UPDATED.   The NFLPA has now exercised its right and FIRED the independent doctor who ruled Tua did not suffer a concussion in last Sundays game vs Buffalo.   All the players association will say is they interviewed the doctor yesterday (Friday) and found the doctor skipped several steps.     The handling of Tua these last two games is a disaster for the NFL, for Miami, for McDaniels, and especially for Tua whose long term health may now be at risk.   This is the last type of news the league wants or needs.      The protocols were designed specifically to avoid a situation like this from happening.   And yet it did when it was obvious something was terribly wrong with Tua and with a system that allowed him back in the field three plays later.   The protocols were designed to take the decision out of the hands of team officials, team doctors AND the players themselves who might want to play in a big important game.   That was the whole point of hiring an independent doctor.    So that incidents like this would NEVER,  EVER happen again.  And yet it did.
    • When you get up stumbling like he was I don’t care what the experts say human decency says don’t let him back him. He clearly lied about his back locking up.
