2023 2nd not even 2022 2nd.

Drop down is valued at last pick of 2nd round.

2nd rounder 2 years away is devalued at least a full round. Probably more like late 3rd.

Give Philly our 5th or next year's 4th for Ertz and lets close this deal....

Bears also offered them their 1st round pick this year and the Eagles would getting Foles back where he has had his best years. Cohen is a good back. Our deal isn't better.

I'm saying that Philly might not be able to afford two veteran players.  Foles and Cohen's two contracts are fairly hefty for a team that has to shed players by March 19.  And Chicago doesn't have the draft capital to spare.

Ballard could be taking advantage of both Philly's and CHIs constraints by how he packages the deal.

If Ballard pulls this off he's a genius

My biggest gripe with Wentz was not getting something good back but another 2nd would be huge

Holy crap if this is true. We get Lawrence and Fields/Wilson in the division.

This person also say bears never made a offer to eagles.

I kinda feel like this guy is making stuff up now

I've been anti Wentz but I think this is pretty cheap really. Equivalent of mid 2nd round pick plus Oke and Doyle. Especially after hearing them wanting multiple 1st.(just rumors, as is this though)

I wouldn't mind Ertz for sure.

Still on the fence though.

Cohen is only $1.5m this year to team traded to, Foles is $4m.

They are really not to much.

A vet is fine, to mentor, but can't steal reps.

Would need to see as much as possible from Eason/ and rookie of that is the route we go.

Maybe Alex Smith could be brought in a 3rd stringer and mentor?

Something like that could make sense, but anyone stealing reps at that point(Eason/rookie QB) just leaves us a clueless on what we have in our other QB.

Watching Alex out there makes my skin crawl, worse than American Idol.

I'd rather go for the One Armed Man from Twin Peaks...at least that guy is ambulatory...and not ambulance ready.

These tweets almost make it sound Colts might have the only offer. We will see. I would feel really bad for Doyle but if it frees up some money to go after someone like hunter Henry or Ertz then do be it.

But Watson is not!

The rumor has been jets are a place Watson would agree to go to because he likes the coach they hired.

Yeah in this scenario he wouldn't of been playing he would be 3rd string teaching Eason and rookie QB the ropes. Not taking reps.

I doubt, and hope, that Alex wouldn't go for that.

Also, Eason is close enough to 'our rookie' for me.

Fitzpatrick apparently has played the role of mentor but, also, he's more likely right now to win a game(for whoever gets him) than:

Tua

Trey Lance

Zach Wilson

Justin Fields

Trevor Lawrence

...maybe even than Tom Brady, because He is 43 year old game manager, with an all star surrounding cast.

When I talk about a bridge QB it is what RF did in Miami this year

Apparently you just cherry picked a post and responded to it, because I had quite a few that talked about these scenarios. Not going to go back and revisit it now.

If you found this one, you should be able to see the rest and what it is in regards to.

Well yes, but he was limited by being pulled, while he was winning...to push Tua out there...to show the owner...I'm just saying it's possible that Fitzpatrick could win. I know it's bad, but my hopes went up when he tested + before Buffalo. I think Fitzpatrick would have eliminated the Colts, and I guess would have got a next-week repeat game vs Bills.
