Definitely starting to dislike Chud. Play calling is just sad most times, even with AL.

Respectfully disagree. I don't want to see a single play from our regular season playbook. Don't give out a film of yourself if you don't need to. Let's just play vanilla, simple, and see who is executing who's not.

Honestly it doesn't matter about giving away plays Peyton ran the same plays all the time and people still couldn't defend you can show your hand all you want the defense still HAS to stop it that being said we don't show anything during the season either so this is no excuse haha

It's not play calling . It's lack of execution.

Give Mack more touches.

Mack is good, even an untrained eye can see it.  Limited touches probably mean coaches like what they see in him. And they're not going to chance an injury by playing him for too much time. Maybe the third preseason game is where he will see a lot of touches.

Agreed. I just want to see him play more.

What if no one executes? Tolzien isn't leading anyone to a win.

Yeah, he's just back from a minor injury. Don't force him. He'll be good by midseason.

With the running back position being a position of high attrition, you need a younger player later down the road in the season,  especially if he's number two with the ceiling of a number one. If you guys remember, Joseph Addai had his reps increased during the middle of the 2006 season

They are more likely deciding who will make the roster as the fourth or fifth running back. I personally prefer to limit Mack's reps right now.

Mack needs the touches. Can't worry about injuries.

No last year there was no o line. Not much this year either

In which the playcalling should transfer to quick passes yet they were stuck in an intermediate passing game. His playcalling should mask the deficiency of talent in the oline then Peyton used to as well?

If the players are inept, no call will work

    • I guess your reading is lacking comprehension.  You stated Irsay was threatening to move to LA and that is false. Mannings presence did help build LOS but he was the QB on a team. Wins come from team play.
    • Loved or liked most Ballard drafts, I think this one may be one of his bests. Couple of posters suggested enough of the nonsense I want wins. Which brings me to my point. What if Ballard has been drafting good, what if it has been coaching? This year we find out. Most of Reich's coaching years we have beaten good teams and lost to bad teams except, Pat's, Steelers and at Jacksonville, we lose here all the time.  All in all, I wouldn't be surprised if we go 6-12 or 12-6.
    • Yes he did. You are completely wrong. I don’t know why you cannot comprehend the facts of this. Peyton Manning is the reason the Colts are still in Indianapolis. Facts!
    • Well placed source but zero info about what baggage Hopkins had in Houston?   Nothing more specific?   This is how dust gets kicked in the internet with zero information or any clue.   Diggs got traded in the first place because Vikings management couldn't handle the passion he displayed in the field, and they didn't want to hurt Cousins, who is a real diva for someone who would never win a SB and is slightly above average QB. Since they wanted to trade Diggs, Buffalo gave up first round pick. He didn't get traded because Buffalo went after him, as you suggest. If not Buffalo, someone else would've offered a good draft compensation in return.   Both Vikings HC and GM ended up getting fired, and the new staff want to move on from Cousins. Only player among that group who's still focused on winning and is competing in playoffs year after year is Diggs. Lot of Vikings fans were enraged about Diggs then, and fans are now left with only losers at the important position.    Just because Bills GM and HC understand and are okay with Diggs for the way he is doesn't mean the tail wags the dog in Buffalo.   Wow, for a baseless rumor with zero clue about what kind of player or person Diggs is, you have made a lot of manipulated statements.
    • Two things for me.  1- Ballard has widely been considered great at drafting however the results are not there, so as someone above posted, I dont care about draft grades anymore I want wins.   2- Also its impossible to grade this draft right now. If AR is good it will be a success and overshadow everyone else. If AR bombs out it will be a failure and overshadow everyone else lol
