We Need To Go With Solid Blue Helmets With A White Horseshoe

NFL only allows teams to have 2 helmets. Usually their normal helmet and a throwback.

Solid blue with a blue face mask is the UGLY. I like our normal helmet and unis and our throwback.

The only way I could see them doing this is if they had them as an alternate for away games, but keeping the classic uni's for home games. Other than that, I'd say leave them as they are. I found this concept to illustrate what I'm talking about.

I forgot about the blue alternate. I don't recall seeing the alt. in 2011. If we wore a blue helmet it should only be one game a year and probably against Tennessee since their is a whole lot of white going on when those two clash. but to tweak the Horseshoe or white helmet never! there is too much tradition from Unitas to Manning it's just too iconic. go on a Yankee message board and say pinstripes look out of date or go to the Crimson Tide board and tell them they need to replace the numbers with an Elephant logo.

All teams should have home and away helmets, one being white the other their primary color. It would generate a ton of money amoung collectors as well.

There is a stripe. It's just a weird angle. I still prefer the throwbacks as our alts though.

The classic blue on white is what drew me to the colts. It's what I am going to paint my 65 mustang might put 18 on the doors too lol. For right now it's just blue though lol

Maybe it's because guys are basically going sleeveless and they had to redesign the jerseys and shorten the stripes.

I did find these photos that show Harbaugh's jersey stripes being longer...I like that look better than the current.

I wouldn't mind them as a part of an alternative uniform, but not for every game. I like the teams that keep their old school look from the golden age of football in the 50s and 60s.

at one time they did go all the way around down on the sleeve, now everyone has the shoulder stripes. styles change over the years. you see similar trends with other teams

I thought these bulldog helmets looked sharp... maybe the colts could do one with a blue strip down the center and maintain a blue horseshoe on the side ... and we go with silver/gray pants.

I DO NOT want to change our look, but just for fun I put together a uni set that incorporates grey and blue pants. If we were to change our uni's I wouldn't be too upset about these...
