Hurry up offense

Anyone else wish we ran the hurry up more?

 

Luck has been consistently good at it (even last year he was still pretty good at it, look at the Panthers game for instance) and its obvious hes in his comfort zone while doing it.

 

It seems to me that the Broncos game could have been a perfect time to break it out for a series or two earlier in the game, especially since Luck was struggling.

 

Thoughts?

Yes, I'm in favor of the hurry up offense.  This way we can leave the field and not be too embarrass on the shellacking the other team inflict upon us.  In other words save face and some time.....

Yeah I think hurry up COULD work, especially against a D like Denver so they can't sub as much.  Maybe they get tired more easily in that thin air?    But what do I know?  Too late now.

Just don't understand why they didn't run hurry up offense on the last TD drive in denver

IMOP they should try it in the first quarter maybe it would help get them in a rythem and out of the slow start, They are playing to much from the starting script they are handed during the first quarter

5 years ago i expected luck to be calling the plays ala peyton or even brady (with the 2-3 play option he audibles in/out of), while using the hurry up which has been his comfort zone since day 1.  sad that it isnt the case in his 5th season

Me and my buddy were SCREAMING at the TV during that drive. We couldn't believe how lackadaisical they were being between plays, there seemed to be zero sense of urgency whatsoever. They let the clock run down from pretty much 7 minutes to 4 minutes in the red zone alone. I didn't understand it at all.

We have seen over the last couple years how good the offense is when they go hurry up. It bothers me that they only wait till they have to go hurry up.

College teams run the hurry up offense now. The fact that the colts don't is *ic. And kinda sad.

Yeah I felt like they let too much time off the clock on that drive.
