Defense- As I watch the Bengals preseason game #4 unlike previous years of vanilla plays, One positive note is that we are dialing sensible blitzes and forcing Bengals to check down to the number 2,3, or 4th receiver options, or forcing them to kill the play. Earl Okine is playing lights-out.

 

Offense- QB Morris is outplaying QB Tolzin. Morris's Pocket presence (stepping up in the pocket) resembles a veteran QB. Also, Morris is putting heat on the ball. WR Chester Rodgers made great catches and run after catch plays.

 

Another important thing of note is that we are finally tackling. Years prior, we would give up YAC (Yards after contact) by the opponents RB.

He to constantly beat this drum but I thought Maggitt looked good.  Also I don't think Edwin makes the team, he really dropped off after the 11st couple games. JMO

Bray should not make the team, IMO. We need WRs who can contribute to the Offense and he cannot. He's not a good enough PR to overcome that.

We will be scouring the waiver for CBs. None of our UDFAs or scrubs are worthy of a spot.

You guys notice on the play Maggitt got the FF. Thompson, Bates and Maggitt on the field at the sametime. Bates was playing mlb with Edwin.

Except cornerback Christopher Milton, #40. Needs a lot of work on his techniques (with another team). Maybe he didn't get the memo.

Yes I saw that.  They had been saying they were going to have him play ILB as well.

Will the waiver wire provide O-line. pass-rushing or CB depth? Maybe we'll be fine without bringing anybody in, maybe not.

#65 Kit O`Brien at guard looked very capable.
 Stephen Morris is a Keeper!
 Morrison looks very instinctive and lays the wood. A half step slow but he will force some fumbles.
 Earl Okine & TY McGill look ready for Prime Time.
