No one has ever drove 100 in colorado when I've been on the road. I've gone to the casino 200 times in the last 10 years and that has never happened on the way.

In an above post you said you don't do stupid things, but going to the casino 200 times in 10 years is okay? Your gambling is okay, but the hell with someone who speeds, or drinks, or does whatever they prefer?

Hypocrisy at its finest, right there

My car can go up to 160, but you get pulled over for going 5 over in Jersey. It's stupid to go that fast, but it's not worth getting cut over if that does happen

It would be hard to find a stretch of road in New Jersey that isnt clustered up with traffic to run much over the speed limit.

So because you're touchy, we're supposed to bow down to your "squeaky clean" highness and call for a noose for a guy who was speeding and got caught just so that you can calm down?  Are you freaking serious.....

I think your talking to a kid with very lil driving experience in years & mileage .

Thats the only way his posts  make any sense .

Gambling is a job for me, I paid for my entire house gambling online and I was able to do it without moving out of my parents house til I was 25 and having a regular job. There is nothing wrong with gambling as long as you do it responsibly, and I stayed well within my limits. I went to the casino with 200-300 dollars very time and if I lost, I was done. Mostly to enter poker tourneys which I cashed at or won a lot. I've gone to college since and recently got my permanent job, so no, there's nothing wrong with what I did or do, as I don't abuse it. Much better than drinking, speeding, or anything else that puts your life and others in danger.

Yes, but speeding or not, they can be hit either way

Speeding increases something bad happening dramatically.  That is why cops have lights on in emergency situations. (not talking about pulling people over) at the scene of accidents

That's quick. Unfortunately it's not for everyone. We all have things we are really good at and usually they end up becoming our jobs for a living. I was lucky to be able to be really good at something when it benefited me. That'll do that to you though, losing $400 that quick. It gets to be a grind, tbh, playing poker. You have a bankroll that you have to constantly build up. Unless you are really rich and don't have to worry about money, I wouldn't recommend it.

Not sure if you are calling me liar here, but it would make no sense to lie and say it took me 7 years to buy a house off online poker. I've literally made $100,000 less the way I did it (playing online poker 7 years then going to college when i was 25 rather than college after high school) and it's slowed down my life than if I just committed to college and didn't try to get rich quick. I finally got my first real job 6 months ago, and I'm way behind on my life. I got chicken and used all my money on a new house rather than spend it in vegas at a casino, but I had to settle down. I'm 28 and just now trying to start my life. I'm not bragging when I say I bought a house gambling, I wish I did it the old-fashioned way. Now I may not get married for two more years, and I have to catch up on life.

Don't be a bible thumper, it's a legal job and I worked really hard to be good at it. I steal people's money legally lol.

Here you go again, putting words in my mouth.

I'm not a bible thumper whatsoever, never have been.

Fact is that Gambling is considered by psychologists to be an addiction just as much so as alcohol, drugs and tobacco.  So I guess the high moral horse you tried to act like you were on was imaginary...

He's not, but I'm gonna call you a criminal as what you just claimed to have done is illegal.

Internet poker and internet gambling is ILLEGAL in both colorado and the US........so looks like mr squeaky clean is dirtier than Sio Moore is by far.

https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/enforcement/what-legal-gambling-questions-colorado

" Internet gambling is illegal under state and federal laws. Colorado law prohibits the transmission or reception of gambling information by any means. The federal Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, signed into law in October 2006, prohibits online gamblers from using credit cards, checks and electronic fund transfers to place and settle bets. Further, the federal 1961 Wire Act also prohibits the use of wire communications in interstate or foreign commerce for the placing of bets or wagers or information assisting in the placing of bets or wagers. "

"Unlike participants in legalized forms of gambling, persons who wager on online casinos have no recourse with any state agency should they not be paid for winning wagers or have any other dispute with the entity with which they are placing their bets. Furthermore, players are not guaranteed odds. By statute, slot and video machines in Colorado casinos must pay out between 80 percent and 100 percent. Online casinos are not required to have minimum payouts and are under no form of regulatory control to ensure compliance with any payout controls.

Many online sites advertise they are "legal" and "licensed" forms of wagering. They may be legal or licensed where the bets are received, but it remains illegal to place bets from Colorado with these businesses.

In addition, the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission prohibits persons and businesses licensed in the casino industry in Colorado from having any involvement with internet gaming sites that can be accessed by Colorado residents.

Gambling is a job to professionals. I don't care what psychologists say, I'm not playing against the house where the casino has the advantage, I'm playing against less skilled players besides me. I also stay within my limits.

You'll learn to back down because not everyone will , I fly around speeding most of the time to get around what I perceive as the stupid people on the road the turtles out for a sunday cruise get left in the dust I had 1 speeding ticket last year first time in years you want to know why because everyone speeds the problem is the turtles who try to slow everyone else down .

IMO  after reading post after post is you might be a lil bit of a drama queen .

First, calling people names is against the rules

Second, I do think that people who have the attitude that people driving the speed limit are the problem.......are in fact the problem themselves

I was talking to a guy one day who was complaining to me about being late to work because of how slow people drive on the snow

now, mind you here in Indy, snow removal is not that great so when is snows, it's treacherous.

This guy had four wheel drive and clearly did not leave enough time to allow for slow road conditions and rather than blaming himself.......he was blaming the other people who wouldn't get out of his way.

I suggested to him that he might not know this but lots of us (including me) do not have four wheel drive and in fact drive cars that don't do well on the snow

Didn't matter to him

And i was pretty shocked about that.  It's common sense.  you share the road with all kinds of different cars.

That's why there is a ticket for 'driving too fast for conditions'

It's common sense to slow down

I haven't gambled since full tilt was shut down online a few years ago, as I have said, since I was 25 and i then went to college. Use your dino cop brain to figure that out. I go to to the casino now to gamble, as it's the biggest reason I've gone 200 times, because internet poker is shut down. Don't you have some innocent civilians to shoot now, maybe a kid?

I don't think it's an addiction for everyone. Some, yes, it's like alcohol or drugs, but then you have insanely smart people either counting cards, or doing daily fantasy sports and studying diligently then submitting thousands of ineups. The sharks take the lions share of the winnings because they are smarter than the average person playing.

An average of going to a casino 1.7 times per month is hardly representative of a gambling addiction.

Online gamling has ALWAYS been illegal....since even before the internet, you couldnt legally use phone or any wire lines to gamble either

Not everyone who drinks or gambles is addicted.  I know I'm not

I do it to win money, nothing immoral about that. Your job is worse than gambling. Cops are pure scum. They used to care but now days they just want to arrest someone when someone calls them, or if they feel threatened, kill them. It's about the power trip, just like you're trying to do to me, intimidate me.

Sadly I've witnessed this song and dance quite often. The latest was the infamous I-74 pileup a week ago. A lot of people think that 4x4 grants them this instant achievement of snow immortality. The reality is that few vehicles can handle snow and ice when driving over a certain speed. It's just plain physics!
