T.Y. "Illegal touching" play....no flag?

So, TY got called for going out of bounds and being the first guy back in to touch the ball. But where was the flag for a blatant helmet to helmet hit by the Denver DB? I mean he laid Hilton out. How there wasn't a flag on that one was beyond me. Hilton was clearly dazed and it took him a bit to get up. The replay was pretty clear too. I know we won and I'm happy, but had Hilton ended up hurt on that play I'd be pretty mad.

Yes I did notice that also. I also noticed Talib trying to put Allens eye out and then Miller kneeing Doyle in the neck. I guess  Denver's defense didn't like the Colts beating them? Pretty poor sportsmanship in my book.

That's Talib in a nutshell. When he played for Tampa Bay some years back, the personal foul penalties killed them in close games.

How did you come to this conclusion?

I thought that's what the flag was for actually. Like I know sound doesn't exactly specify it as a helmet-to-helmet, but there is no way the refs didn't hear that hit.

It looked like it was his hip that was making him get up slowly based on how he was rubbing it while he was on the ground.

I also thought the flag was on the DB. Helmet to helmet didn't get called at all in this game, which is disappointing since the NFL has placed a huge emphasis on concussion prevention.

Well, there was another play where whalen catches, goes out of bound, takes 2 or 3 steps, then gets nailed yet no flag. Another play it looked like one of the pass rushers were targeting lucks knees. At least they were consistent.

I don't think it was helmet to helmet.. and I don't know if TY counted as a defenseless receiver in that situation.

How did you come to this conclusion?

Well, by all the dirty hits, I think its fair to say they didn't exactly show much respect.

Poking eyes, taking hits at knees and stomping throats isn't a sign of respect that I've ever seen.

That hit looked a lot worse in live action than it did on the replay.  I thought TY was out though when he got hit early in the game.  That was a nasty hit.  Honestly TY had one heck of a game considering how bad his foot was reported to be.

Because of the crap you saw today. Also in last year's playoff, Thomas said we didn't respect the colts and we're looking ahead to the pats
