  1. I don’t think Carolina has many weapons for their QB so I suspect Stroud wouldn’t have had as much success as he did in Houston. I also don’t think Frank Reich is the QB whisper he was made out to be so no advantage from a coaching standpoint either. Btw, I’m not blaming Ballard. It would have taken a lot for us to trade up and hindsight is always 20/20. But for me it was always stroud then AR. Levis and Young were never on my list. I still think the Young pick will doom Carolina for years. Jury is out on Levis.
  2. Strong disagree. You can tell by the poll most of us wanted Stroud. I’m hoping AR can still be our franchise QB but I wanted Stroud all along. Many of us did. We just never traded up for him.
  3. Dude, we’re not getting rid of 28. We’re also not drafting 2 ILB with our top picks. We need still need WR depth.
  4. But our QB got hurt and won’t return until next year. Minshew is our backup, that’s all. He is better than most in that role but there’s a reason why he isn’t our starter. If AR can stay healthy, this team is a playoff team for the next decade.
  5. He’s still a good backup. I’d take him again in that capacity.
  6. Terrible execution for most of it. They deserve to lose.
  7. Doubt they will sniff a top 5 draft pick. So no, Colts aren’t in the Caleb sweepstakes.
  8. Same. But Rivers was solid for the most part.
  9. No, he’s not rewarding JT. He’s improving the Colts now that 3 things have happened: 1. AR showed he’s nowhere as raw as assumed 2. JT must have shown enough in practice or other private workouts that the ankle is fully healed 3. AFC is up for grabs None of these were guaranteed when the drama started. I for one am thrilled. And despite the weird press conference on Thursday, I understood JT’s stance even if the media hated it.
  10. Here the problem with your logic from earlier post: it is based on the assumption that JT will get re-injured, potentially even fake an injury. He might because that’s life in the NFL. But it wouldn’t be good for JT so you can count on him not faking an injury. And it wouldn’t be good for the colts as they need. JT to take pressure off Richardson.
  11. Geez, got any more nuggets of positivity you’d like to share?
  12. Well said. I don’t hate JT for his hold out. Both he and Irsay made the situation worse than it should have been. That said, I sincerely hope he comes back and plays like the stud we know him to be.
  13. Lol Matt had better numbers, which is to be expected, but I would like to have seen more Sam.
  14. Although to be fair, Briaket wa a good fit the QB sneak 9 times out of 10.
