We need to re-sign Mike Adams first off. 

 

If we lose out on the McCourty sweepstakes, we need to go after Raheem Moore, not T. Branch. Branch can't stay healthy at all. Let someone else overpay him to ride the bench. I've had enough of that with Bob Sanders. 

 

I think we should definitely re-sign Sergio Brown as well. He is more than serviceable at safety, and excellent at ST. We need depth all over, and safety is no exception.

Branch is a great safety "when healthy". The problem is he's one of the most injury prone players in the league. Again, it all starts in the trenches. Once you have a great front 7 everything else falls into place.
