I think there will be some Specific talent level that will be there at 2 that i wouldn`t wish to trade away from.

Mock drafts are so hard to do before free agency. A few days ago everyone was wanting Skov. Now that we've signed D'Qwell, I doubt we go after Skov unless he falls to the 5th round. A lot want us to draft a FS early, if we get Byrd, I doubt we go after a FS. Some want Baptiste early, if we keep Davis, then cut Toler and get Shields or Munnerlyn, again I doubt we get a CB early.  The draft is about filling holes in the first 3-4 rounds, then depth in 5-7. We know what our holes are now, but not what they will be come the draft.

If this draft were accurate, I wouldn't trade down. All the best picks for us would be gone. Desir, Moncrief, Attaochu, Smith, Quarles, ETC. I had rather get one of those guys in the 2nd. I would take Moncrief in the 2nd and Baptiste in the 3rd if Desir was gone.

If we focus on defense in free agency, I am afraid that we would regret passing on Moncrief in the 2nd round.

 

In the 3rd round, I would take either the best corner or best offensive lineman available. If Brandon Thomas, Jack Mewhort, or Travis Swanson happened to fall, that would be tremendous. At corner, I would be interested in Desir, McGill, or Breeland.

I think the Colts should trade the 6th and 7th round picks to move up into the 4th. In addition to that deal with the Browns. You would end up with:

 

3 third round picks

1 4th

1 5th

 

Then draft in this general order:

 

-BA WR

-Choice of CB from McGill, Baptiste, Breeland, or Desir

-BPA at Safety or OLB

-BA 3-4 DE

-BPA 3-4 DE or RB

Mcgill Im kinda warmin up to but not with our first pick, This draft class is loaded with WR talent and has alot D Line and OLB talent I'd rather get over Mcgill, I do think he will be good however.

If Attachu or Marcus Smith are still there at our 2nd, like you have, I would not trade out. 

 

Although, I think trading out of 2 in this year's draft is not a bad option at all.
