Vinny is a KEY reason we won most of our games this year

We can't put too much cap space into our kickers, pay Vinatieri and let McCafee walk.

Punters are easier to replace than place kickers...just don't break the bank to keep him.

Re-Sign Adam V, but let MacAfee walk, then replace him in the 7th or UDFA. We shouldn't spend  6 or 7 million a year on our kicker and punter.

Everyone here seems to say keep Vinny at the expense of Pat.  I say we should do the exact opposite!

Re-sign Pat and try to bring in another punter or kicker through the draft.  If we can get a good kicker in the 7th, keep Pat as a punter.  If we can get a good punter in the 7th, switch Pat to kicker.  Pat is younger and ready to handle more duties for the team.  Vinny is a legend, but Pat has a better FUTURE ahead of him.  If I were offered Pat or Vinny for the same money, I would take Pat.

I pretty much don't care whether we re-sign both Vinateri and McAfee. I really like them both, both as players and as people, but I'm just not fussed either way. If we had to sign one, I'd sign Vinateri since good placekickers are probably harder to find than good punters. With that said, if we're relying on a placekicker to win us the game then we're probably doing something wrong. For that reason, I don't support the argument that Vinny has won us games, thus we should re-sign him.

I'd like to resign Vinatieri, but he's not a must, in my opinion. However, Mcafee is to me. Not only is he one of the elite punters in the nfl (  elite punters), but he's a great personality on the team, he just loves being a Colt, and provides awesome insight videos in the locker room.

He is a valuable asset on the field - AND - in the locker room !!
