Again, everyone making excuses for Trent. Ya, Brown didnt do much better the play before, but its not just this game, that drive, its the culmination of week after week after week of seeing him take the hand off, stop behind the line to look for something and get tackled for nothing. Grad the handoff and hit the line with your head down at full speed at least.

This thinking would have led to Brown being cut early in his career too.

See why it's a foolish train of thought?

Not sure I understand why Trent is getting dumped on here.

Brown did literally the same thing the play earlier.

Think Brown last year played a lot like Richardson does this year. Or at least in the games i saw. He tended to try and dance around too much, now Brown is playing more direct and running in a straight line through people and it's working. Richardson should do the same thing imo.

Whenever there is 1 person/open field running he seems to do well. But when he's at line of scrimmage i think theres too many people to do the same style of running. He's not bad, he just needs to try a different tactic imo

    • we're back to the days of the backup QB being the most popular guy in town. feels like the eighties/early nineties all over again   ala Captain Comeback   😁
    • There's a boatload of money in sports medicine & in geriatric medicine. But geriatric sports medicine is where doctors & nurses become billionaires!
    • Back to the geriatric QB club...yaay
    • For all those people who say great athletes "they can throw really far", if you think AR is just that, it's a little naive.  He hit THREE 50 yard plus bombs his first game this year.   In not sure how many QBs have done that in a single game in their lifetime.   The longest bomb he hit Pierce in stride.   It was INCREDIBLE.  Is he perfect?  No.  He's a work in progress.  Yes, the Peyron Manning comparable are laughable.  AR is no where near as talented as Manning was coming out of college.  Anyone who makes comparisons of those two is fooling themselves.  A better comp is Allen.  Hell,  even Lamar Jackson used to get hurt frequently,  until he figured out how to avoid contact.  If AR doesn't figure out that his availability is his number one asset, he won't last in this league.  And while we all have our opinions, let's stand behind Anthony Richardson as long as he dons the shoe!  If you are a true Colts fan, you should want all our players to do well, especially our QB!  Lastly, I was on the side of letting him learn on the fly because he needs the reps, but I'm starting to wonder if he's not mature enough to handle it and needs to sit behind a vet for another year.  Go Colts!
