Texans won't win a super bowl with Matt Schaub.

You're 100% right.

In my opinion, Matt Schaub is the type of guy that can do the job, but isn't the reason why they win games and has cost them more games than he's won them.

Well he's just as good as Flacco IMO

Yes, but the only reason the Ravens won in the playoffs is because of Flacco's deep ball. Which just so happens to be one of the best in the league, especially with a receiver that can get it where the CBs can't. Schaub isn't as good at the deep ball.

lol.....yeah, that and Schaub is about as elusive as an iceberg and completely shrinks from big moments.

He's pretty much the exact opposite of Flacco.

Schaub has 3 4000+ seasons to his credit with a solid running game, 1 of those seasons he led the league in passing yards while being 5th in TD's passes

Again.....this might be relevant if this was the 2009 season.  But it's not 2009, it's 2013.

Would you take Thomas Jones right now over Doug Martin, too?  After all, Thomas Jones has five 1000 yard rushing seasons on his resume, including the third highest total in the NFL in 2009?

Not really.

Flacco has always known to have had superior physical tools over Matt Schaub.  And that's not even to mention Matt Schaub's proven inability to come thru in big games, whereas Joe Flacco is pretty much the antithesis of that.

We all said the same thing about Flacco last year. There is no reason why they can't. Just got to get hot at the right time.

would you take a 120 plus million dollar average quarterback? Of course I wouldn't take Martin over Jones,  But Schaub has more yards passing since Flacco came into the league, a higher completion percentage, Schaub has less touchdowns but he has missed 11 games since then and Baltimore tends to forget Ray Rice exists more often then not now where as Arian Foster gets worked pretty hard, not excuses just facts, Flacco does have you on Schaub however but being able to produce I'd go with Schaub
