This is the injury report for week 3, against jacksonville jaguars:

Winston Justice T: Full Participation in Practice, Probable

Austin Collie WR: Full Participation in Practice, Probable

Mike McGlynn G: Limited Participation in Practice, Questionable

Joe Reitz G: Did Not Participate In Practice, Out

Cory Redding DE: Did Not Participate In Practice, Questionable

Pat Angerer LB: Did Not Participate In Practice, Out

Dwight Freeney LB: Full Participation in Practice, Questionable

Samson Satele C: Limited Participation in Practice, Questionable

Im worried that Satele and McGlynn are questionable for the game, also is exciting that freeney had full participation in the practive and once again redding injured? He is very valuable on our defense!!

We'll really need Redding out there. He played amazing last week, I didn't even see him get hurt?

Nice to see Freeney in full participation, kind of shocking. I don't see him playing, but if he does that'd be great!

Seems Satele & Justice will be back which is good.

SO glad Essex will probably be taking Olsen's spot!!!

I have checked everywhere even the link above that you listed Freeney is listed as did not participate and I saw were Freeney is not expected to return until Green Bay along with Angerer and Reites

I just checked it once again and they changed almost everything, they edited it.

I didn't see Redding get hurt either????? I don't get why he is always on the injured list???? Is he going to be one of the "made of glass" players at his current age of 29 and we just have to keep watching him go to the sidelines in pain??? I don't get his injuries up to this point and maybe someone can explain why he is always injured. Wasn't he always injured on the Ravens and then his former team before that. I did some googling and saw lots of hits on his previous injuries. pretty scary to rely on a guy like that --- perhaps he can shake it off and continue to be healthly and these injury issues will go far far away. very frustrating.

    • I would still love if we signed Simmons but normally players get better in year 2, in Nicks case it will be year 3. Looks like Ballard trusts who he has + we still have Moore .
    • They want to give the young DBs a chance, like they've been saying since the end of the season. Maybe losing Daniel Scott (again) changes things a little, making it slightly more likely that they add a veteran at some point. But it's been a month and they haven't done anything, so I assume they'll wait and see what camp looks like.   I personally would prefer that they sign a qualified veteran, even if he's not an incredible game changer. Any of the vets whose names we've been throwing around since March would be nice to have. But they obviously aren't eager to do that, and I don't think it's about cost at this point. I think it's about giving the young players room to prove themselves.    There a few veteran established safeties and corners still unsigned. I think they have options, at least for now.
    • This really bothers me because many people don't know this, but the Vikings are my 2nd favorite team because my father was a diehard Vikings fan. I have never really posted that I don't think, maybe I did to @NFLfanat one time? I liked Denver too when Peyton went there but who didn't lol. I grew up having to hear my dad talk about Fran the greatest QB ever and in 1998 when they had Cunningham, Moss, Carter, Smith, and Randle - it was nonstop. So this hits home with me pretty deep. That is another reason why, I always barked backed at people talking bad about Kirk, because he was actually good.
    • I had him 3rd round too. He was possibly winning a starting job on the Vikings outside of Byron Murphy if I remember right. Had a bright future. Hate when this happens. As you said, only 24. Way too young to die. I just turned 37 July 1st, so that's scary to think about.
    • Kid had everything, big, strong, fast, had the enjoyment of being drafted by the Vikings family, was going to make big money too. I had him going 3rd round coming out, I was close. This is really sad, only 24!
