Colts (-3) vs Jacksonville

Last week's game was even...

...and accepting that the Colts won by 3 last week..they should have won by 14

We led 20-6 with 5:30 left ....and I think Minnesota is a better team than Jacksonville...

Over-under is 43....the exact amount of points scored last week..

The Colts/Jax should go over at home.....That's probably a better bet than taking either side...

This game should be a win, if we dont turn the ball over. I think Andrew Luck goes for close to 300 yds and 2 Td's witht the return of Collie.

Is Collie planning to play, Rich...?

Becase that's a big boost...He worked well with Luck...

..and the original plan was to have Collie, Avery, Coby and Reggie......

we havent seen our best air force yet..

I say we play Collie to hopefully gain a lead and then sit him.... We should do that in every game that we get a lead in... Try to keep that guy healthy... He is a force when he is on the field.

I see where you're going with this, but to me, if you have a guy that is unable to play a whole game or you're unwilling to play him a whole game because of threat of injury then that guy is a waste of a roster spot. We need guys that can be available to contribute at all times.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Load the box, stop MJD, and put Mathis in QB Blaine Gabbart's face early and often. The Colts should win this game without much trouble IMO.

If you neutralize MJD, all you hear on the Jaguars sideline is silence and the sound of crickets chirping. Don't believe me, shh! Just be quiet and listen....

Considering that we held ap in check for the most part, if we can do the same with MJD (a tall task I know) then we should be fine. Gabbert doesn't scare me and looking at his options to throw to that doesn't scare me much either; Blackmon, Lewis, Stoval and Shorts. . . .all we gotta do is keep him and check and Luck and co. should be able to take this one. Wayne has played 20 games against jax with 117 receptions over 1600 yds and six touchdowns. I have a feeling this will help luck. We need to try (key word) and establish the run early and often so Avery can get deep on this team. Him or Hilton need to get behind the safety's a few times to scare em

I would also like to see McAfee and Co. win the field position battle with them also. They don't have too much there either :)

Not gonna be Hard to stop the holdout MJD. If we stopped AP, MJD is no problem. O-line will be reshuffled this week hopefully and Luck gets his full arsenal. We take the W at home and go into the Bye week sitting at 2-1 and get ready for the stretch of the schedule

I'm sorry but saying MJD is no problem is way off base. We have ALWAYS had a problem with him. He is the one RB that I am worried about more than any other. That man always has good games against us.

Indy vs Jagz game usually go down to the wire....

JAX is really banged up tho and I am leaning toward a blow out for the good guys...

BUT, It's Jax..... they always show up against Indy.

Had Indy not "held AP in check" I would agree... but Jax is really hurting ... I like Indy's chances.

That was in the OLD Era. this right here is a NEW one. And plus, he hasn't played much due to his Holdout. I'm sticking to my prediction that he won't be the same MJD this year like last year

43 seems high to me as the point total

If I were a gambling man (which I'm not), I'd probably take the colts and the under. I'm thinking something like 20-13 or somewhere in there. I see the Jags having moderate success on the ground and winning the time of possession, but not enough to win the game.

While I don't think MJD will be up to last year's level, I still think he'll be pretty good yet this season once he gets his legs back. I think you guys might see more Rashad Jennings than the previous two weeks. Jacksonville would be wise to limit Gabbert's influence.

Jennings is doubtful.

    • Less than 2 months away when the greatest crushes this Jake Paul guy. Tyson in 3. Tyson is getting in great shape, he looks fast and strong as of now.    When I list boxers where they rank, I go by peak. You have to when it comes to boxing because most fighters Don't last long. Mike Tyson from 1985-1995 only lost once. Buster Douglass beat him in a fight where Mike didn't even train for and Mike Actually KO'd him in the 8th, Douglass got a 13 count.
    • I'm excited about our future. I think Ballard put together 2 very nice drafts in a row. Never thought we would get Latu, thought we had a better chance at Bowers. Still holding out hope for Cross, he flashes greatness than dissappears, hope he's consistent. Hope Woods takes lead in TE room. I keep writing off Granson, but he keeps impressing. Even if Richardson has a mediocre season I think the team around him could get us to 10-7.
    • I think you understood his words in a "positive" way, but that's not what he said.   He DID NOT say that "most of you would choose to get married..."   That's your implication. Of course, only women can bring children in this world and most of the women will choose to be married and have children, but that's not exactly what he said.   He said, "doing so - while some others will go on to lead successful career in the world - will take you closer to God's Will"    Here's what he said from the transcript:    He could've said, "even if you go on to have a very successful career, and get the greatest accolades of the world, I think the most important title of a woman is :  Homemaker. And, that would take you closer to God's Will"    But, he didn't say so because he wanted to say exactly what he believes women should do and brought God into that by saying that's His Will.    I think he made a mistake of implying that women are generally excited about marriage and having kids and being a homemaker, when that's only part of a woman's life - even though that could be the most cherished and blessed part of the life.   He only looked at how that made his wife's life - his words, not his wife's words by the way - and projected that to all the women.
    • This happens every single year and every single year people worry about the occasional unsigned rookie when we haven't even gotten into June yet.   Guys/gals... it's really a big nothing burger. Ever since the NFL introduced rookie scale contracts this has been a non-issue. Everything important in those contracts has been made non-negotiable. The negotiable things are largely minutiae - it's about schedule of payment...it's about off-set language, or language about voiding salary payments(for example - can the team void payments for suspensions and stuff like that), etc.   There are two cases I remember in the last 10 years where this has become a problem and the player has actually missed training camp practices because of it - Joey Bosa(because of schedule of payments dispute) and Roquan Smith(because of dispute about the language about voiding payments for suspensions because of play). And as you see... Both of those were top 10 picks. (i.e. more money on the line)...   Holdouts/holdins of day 2 and day 3 picks are pretty much unheard of. I personally couldn't find a single case when I looked for it.    AD seems to be taking part in both rookie mini camp and in OTAs and hasn't missed any practice, we haven't heard about any sort of dispute so far, so my assumption would be there is nothing to see here and it's all formality.    So yeah... Unless we hear there is a problem I would just assume everything is good.
