  • NFLfan changed the title to 2024 NFL Draft Day 3 (Rounds 4 through 7) Discussion Thread ****NO SPOILERS****

Who are the best players still available?

Who are you wishing for?

What positions do you wish to address in the remaining rounds?

For the Vikings, select BPA.  But I would like to see us draft a guard, one or two defensive backs (CB or safety), a RB and perhaps another WR.

Later, @stitchesnnd others share their lists of undrafted free agents. Last year, the Vikings got Ivan Pace who was a great player for us. Who will be those players this year?

What about Austin Booker? I think he would be a good value pick in the 4th round. I like him. He is from Greenwood, Indiana.

I like Booker, but I think we're done at DL unless it's a DT maybe. He would've been an option if we didn't land Latu in the 1st.

@PureLuck is the only one who got Adonai Mitchell for the Colts in Round 2, in the contest thread, good job!!!

@jvan1973 put in Latu as a 7th rounder but gets few points for it as it’s his 3rd choice

Then @Solid84 is kicking himself for removing Latu for Turner

Thanks, but @BlueStallion even had him as his choice A in round 2, so all credit to him :) - excluded Latu because of the lower RAS compared to Verse and Chop, happy that Ballard changed his ways on that one

Vikings need a guard. Who is the best available? Vikes had Christian Mahogany in for a visit. He is from BC.

Mahogany I guess... Van Pran if you think he can play guard.

Cedric Grey, Theo Johnson and Khyree Jackson, all good players for us that are taken now.

Been a rough start to the round for sure.

We'll be fine though.

The only thing I’d change about @Dr. T contest is give the full credit for a round, whether Ballard moves up or down in a specific round, like from No.46 to No.52. This results in both you and @BlueStallion not getting the full points and only alternate round points.

To me, it adds to the strategy of choosing someone early Round 2 or later Round 2 thrown into the choices based on whether Ballard moves up or down. If it’s technically a round up or below, I understand not getting full points.
