First and foremost I hope everyone who is out is okay, but I want to kick every single one of them in the face as hard as I possibly can for doing this to the team. If we still manage to make the playoffs, it’ll be a miracle.

Now there’s a selfish statement!

How are players still unvaccinated especially when it could affect their team’s playoffs hopes?

Easy answer: apparently those players don’t believe the vaccine is good for their bodies!

I am vaxxed, by the way…..  but it’s THEIR Bodies, not mine- not anyone else’s

bc they are individually responsible for themselves lol

Then go and be a teacher / construction worker / whatever, and don't sign a 100 million dollar contract.

If everyone would act "individually responsible for themselves", who would be policeman? Or soldier? Or firefighter? Some jobs require to give up some of your otherwise free choices.

It wasn’t in the NFL contract that people had to be vaxed when these players signed, so your statement isn’t applicable.

That goes both ways with many putting faith in vases that CDC has said both pro and con on, and companies making rules that don’t actually follow what the scientists say.   For instance, the NIH said it is a waste to vax young kids, but Fauci said to do it. There are CDC scientists who claim that cloth masks only stop 1% of the virus, yet governments and corporations say to use them.

I’m im vaxed- but others aren’t, and it’s no one’s business if someone is or isn’t.

i dont really care who is right and who is wrong .   the players knew if the got the shot they could play with a negative test a couple days later .    just get it done for the team how is that so hard to understand .

You wanted to kick someone in the face because you think they cost YOU your entertainment.

Oh jeez. You’re damn right I’m upset they potentially cost THE TEAM the playoffs. You’re damn right I’m mad that their selfish decisions are biting them in the * now.

I don’t know Carson Wentz, but I can imagine not being vaxed had something to do with he and his wife were starting a family and there aren’t enough studies on how it effects pregnancies and babies.   Maybe others (like Kelly) too?

Consider those you are talking about…

No, it wasn't. But that's not the point. He won't be fired. He "just" let down his team, his teammates - many of whom did take the vaccine -, and many of his fans.

Both the vaccinated and unvaccinated players on the Colts did a good job with covid protocols. Unfortunately they couldn’t control  a very contagious variant that’s ripping through the US like crazy.  The good news is that this variant is very mild and isn’t causing a lot hospitalizations. That’s more important than people getting mad over a game.

Thanks!

    • I was telling someone that the best way for The Pacers to win was to shoot the lights out and have a double digit lead in the last 2 minutes. Otherwise the refs would make sure the big market team gets calls. They just blew the doors out with 2 out of 3 shots made, a ridiculous level of shooting. Took the crowd and refs out of the game.   I am feeling Pacers in 6 over Celtics.
    • LOL, its been happening for 50 years.  Not rich, but the equivalent visibility offered by small groups of vocal protesters having their visibility elevated by sympathizers with cameras and microphones for all to see their screaming lectures.        These weird conflicts are caused by extremists being triggered by centrist choice-based comments like Butker's.  They seem to wrongly think that Butker is the extremist and then expose their intolerance for people who support a different path.
    • I stand by HIS right to believe what he wants and to say what he wants   Don't like it ?  ......... that's up to you......   No one was harmed by HIS opinion   Freedom of speech used to be just that........   We have become an era of thought police   You'd better get in sync.....    Or people will call for your head.......   Sad times......
    • For me, it depends on the pass rush and FS play.   im in the minority when it comes to our corners.  I think we have a solid group.  Not great, not bad, but solid.  However, I think they can look good with a good pass rush.  If Latu comes in and becomes a wrecker then our defense will be good.  If our pass rush looks like last year, then we’ll see the same thing as last year.  A good pass rush can make a bad defense look good.   for FS, we need better play.  A lot of people last year thought it was our corners, I thought it was the FS play.  I’m hoping we eventually put a vet back there but Ballard wants to evaluate what we have currently so we’ll see.  This cover 3 defense is dependent upon a good pass rush and good safety play.  We’ll need both for this defense to be good.   All in all, I’m hopeful.  I thought last year our defense was going to be absolute trash and it was better than I thought.  Can also thank a historic year of qb injuries for that, but hey, you play who you play.
    • I agree on offense. I think we'll need it with our defense which is currently very hard to evaluate.
