107-99  loss..

Its funny..coaches talk about playing defense and getting stops...

We play it and we get 'em but we just dont have the offense the other playoff team do.

Bogdonavic had 29 against Paul George, who had 31.

But we shot 43% and that's not often good enough

45-30....and on to Boston (44-31)

I am wondering why we go in such cold spurts, same thing happened in Philly.

We fought hard but we are destined to be the 5th seed with Oladipo going out for the year. Sucks that Thad missed that easy layup that would have put us up by two though.

At least we showed that we can match with the Celtics on the road because we are going to have to if we want any shot at winning this playoff series. It's pretty impressive how close this game was with all the talent the Celtics have.

I thought Bogdonavic couldn't move well after that Celtic guy stepped on his ankle.

But yeah, we play so hard and come up just short..

….Kyrie kills their offense sometimes but he made the play at the end.

Pacers (45-31), Celtics (45-31) with 6 games to go.

They play the Nets Saturday..we play Orlando.

There's a chance to get that 4th spot back

There is still a chance. We play the Celtics again next Friday in Indiana. It could all ride on that game depending on if we can handle business in our next 3 games against the Pistons twice and Orlando.

Still a shot for that 4th seed.    10 road losses in a row is bad.

The majority of those losses are without either Sabonis or Collison..

We just cant afford to lose anybody else......for any period of time

Along those lines...I'm worried..No word about Bogdonavic..after his ankle got stomped got stepped on last night in Boston..

  Pacers (45-31)

Sat: Orlando

Monday: Detroit

Wed: at Detroit

Fri: Boston

4-7: Brooklyn

4-10: at Atlanta

Boston (45-31)

Sat:  at Brooklyn

Monday: Miami

Wed: at Miami

Fri: at Pacers

Sunday: Orlando

......so even..except that we're at home more..  Detroit and Miami both have to win. So does Orlando

I understand that, but 10 in a row is still telling.

We can be a tough out, but I think the ceiling is winning the 1st round playoff series.   Probably not that if we are the 5th seed.

Nice job Pacers.   You continue to put a competitive team on the floor every season.

In reality till Simon spends the money on a big name player the chances of the Pacers getting past the 2nd round are slim.

I hate not having a hard cap but when the owner refuses to pay the NBA there is nothing to do but be what we have been since joining the NBA.

this is 100% the truth and it's so sad to know year in and year out we really have no shot at a title cause of the terrible way the league is set up

121-116.....we didn't stop them much ,.they shot 51%

3rd time Orlando has beaten us this year, right

We had seven players in double figures but we didn't stop any body

45-32......tied with Boston with 5 games to go

Back-to-backs with Detroit coming..

We looked tired tonight

    • I'm on your side. Think we have a chance to make the playoffs.  You never know what happens.... Add an injury here or there at certain positions at the other afc south teams for example... Everything is possible!
    • Probably because they read my opening post, lol!      It’s all good.   And BTW, I’m not the only one asking Why Not Us?   https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2023-afc-south-race-will-jaguars-or-colts-win-division-crown-reasons-why-each-could-prevail/
    • Just wanted to post it, because I think it just belongs to this thread...  (wondering nobody did it already)    Anyway.... Goal should always be to compete and at least go to the playoffs.
    • So we ended up with 3 more shots, that may provide value if they get on the field and perform well. Yeah! Old news.
    • Back to the original post about this, seems like they got something backwards with their Johnson/Hill numbers. Johnson has decimals, Hill has whole numbers. But chart shows Hill will decimals and Johnson with whole numbers.    Johnson - 19 Hill - 6.03     Jimmy Johnson has early 6th round value   + 16.4pts - pick 183-184 range   https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp?RequestTeam=Ind   Rich Hill has late 5th round value #35 - 170pts   #44 - 135pts #110 - 30pts #158 - 10pts #211 - 3pts   +8pts - pick 167-172   https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart-Rich-Hill.asp?RequestTeam=Ind   Inconsequential, but a little flaw in that data entry.   Only thing I don't like about Rich Hill's is the value he places on those top 3 picks, where I think Jimmy Johnson's has the advantage in my eyes.   Although I like the value gained on Rich Hill's better. Lol.
