Good running back...made to look great in Dallas.

Not saying anything bad against you but funny how Murray was just a good back behind a great Dallas OL but Zeke is elite behind the same line...even though he rushed for less yards then Murray and has basically the same ypc. Just another case of where we see that an elite rb isn’t that much of an advantage over simply a good back.

That was part of the message

In his day,  Murray was a scary back...   He ran hard...  he ran angry...  he ran violent...   defenses wanted no part of him.

He was beautiful to watch...   terrifying to try and tackle...

But RBs don't age well..   they get old fast...   and coming during another great year of RBs out of college, his timing is.... unfortunate...

He'll likely end up somewhere on a very small deal...    it's a new world....

My guess would be the Jets on a 2 year deal. Forte is retiring and all they’ve got are complimentary backs (Powell and McGuire).

Honestly that is a great prediction.  Either there or the Rams...they seem to be snatching everyone up...lol joking

Rams have Gurley, so no need for Murray. He might go to the Jets, but do the Jets have a good O-Line? If they don't he'll probably be average for them. Jets also have the money to throw at him for a big contract.

It will be interesting to see...him and AP both free agents both with a ton of wear on their tread. Both give you about the same thing at this point.....yeah going to be tough to find a job. I could see either back in Dallas on a cheap deal to back up Zeke.

they were not that far apart in talent, murray was second in rushing after leaving dallas

murray was a vet with some experience when he put up those big numbers,  while elliot was a rookie and came pretty close.  the line wasnt quite as good for zeke either, and may never be again

there was a year gap between them in dallas
