Who am I?

I was selected in the 2007 NFL draft. 

 

In my first year, I caught 37 passes for 576 yards and 3 touchdowns. 

 

The following season I caught 57 passes for 664 yards and 4 touchdowns.

 

In 2009, I earned the starting wide receiver position along with Reggie Wayne. I injured my  right knee during the season opener against Jacksonville Jaguars and was expected to miss up to eight weeks, although I failed to return that season and was placed on injured reserve on December 24.

 

I am now retired and enrolled in the Stanford Graduate School of Business in September 2012.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Former Ohio State University football star and Cleveland-area native Anthony Gonzalez has filed official paperwork to run for Ohio's 16th congressional seat in 2018.

He was only a bust due to injury, he was on track to become a pretty good player, much like Austin Collie.
